It probably won't happen, but just in case someone else is interested...are there any regulars that would be up to having some sort of alla's get together over this way? I'm thinking Boston since I can't expect anyone to want to come up to Maine. Hopefully before winter hits, but maybe in the spring if it works out better for people. It seems all the other alla gatherings have been either on the west coast or in the Chicago area making it impossible for me to attend, but I think it would be fun to meet and greet sometime.

Thoughts?

We recently had Allafemme 2005 in D.C., but only DSD and I could attend. I'm up for it if it's in the Spring. My travel calendar's all booked up for the winter.

Spring is probably just more realistic for everyone with holidays and whatnot coming up. Maybe we could even get a few folks from further away to come if they had long enough to plan. Maybe April? Boston would be getting nice about then.

Hadn't seen Nexa's post. I'm up for April. Allafemme 2006? Or are we inviting the mens?

Wow, it's looking like it might be a ladies of Alla's party, haha. Is April far enough before summer for you? Late April?

If there are folks taking college classes, maybe we could even wait until mid-May?

I'm totally just going flow-of-thought here...

Men can join in the fun, as far as I'm concerned. As long as there are martinis in abundance, I'll be happy.

Or cough syrup. Whatever.

I am going to try to convince my wife that flying to a random city and partying with a bunch of girls I met online that she doesn't know would be fine.

That, and if we plan it for like April, the baby will be about a month old. The perfect time to go.

I am so there.

Ok, so drinking and dancing would probably require an overnight, so we'll need to get hotel rooms. I'm wicked poor, so we need to find somewhere not *too* outrageous.

Note: Under no circumstances will I be wearing a swimsuit. Let's get that out of the way right now.

Premium members can do a poll right? Can someone do a poll about the best time to do this and ask that only people who REALLY think they might actually come to respond. Late April or Mid May I think, in Boston, on a weekend, probably a Saturday night.

Folks are going to be responsible for getting their own hotel rooms and whatnot, I'm not going to mess with that.

Nexa

P.S. I think Alla should organize this and rent a hotel and a ballroom. Yeah, and pay for transportation and food. Oh, and margaritas.

Then I'd check and make sure you're really his dad.

Who forgot to forward the memo that Neph is going to be a dad?

Obligatory: "I hope your wife has a stillbirth" or "I hope there are complications" but my hearts not behind it though. Congrats.

(I still maintain that posting on this site gives you a +5 modifier to fertility)

Anything in Boston's gonna run at least $99 a night.

I can arrange to be divorced by April. You can share a room with me, Nexa.

But that would ruin all my fantasies about some hot girl on girl action. Why do you think I'm doing this? Did you really think that I didn't KNOW that most of those showing up would be girls?

Do these $99 hotels have room for jello wrestling?

Nexa

P.S. I also will not show up dressed as Firiona Vie.

That was so last Friday.

We found out 3 weeks after we got engaged. We tried not to even think about it until after the wedding, planning a wedding in 3 months was enough stress.

The recently renovated Hilton Boston/Dedham is located in the heart of America's Technology highway, just 20 minutes from downtown Boston and the Boston Logan International Airport, accessible to all major highways, and 1 block from the Dedham Corporate Center/ 128 T commuter rail stop. This attractive property is a great hotel that offers its guests plenty of reasons to stay here. The hotel is close to several sights worth checking out. In addition, an array of awesome amenities await guests when they check in. The number of facilities, features and services is seemingly endless. There is a Coffee Shop with Starbucks coffee, Lobby Lounge that serves a full menu for Lunch and Dinner and Fountain Blue for Breakfast & Dinner. There is also full gym, pool, racquet ball & tennis courts.

I think that's what the "gym" is for.
