Last night I crawled into bed at about midnight. I had my alarm set for 8 am. I layed awake in bed until 5:30 in the ******* morning, and I can feel its going to happen again tonight. I can't deal with this, I have a 9 am class every morning I cant live on 2 and half hours of sleep a night.

Don't pay attention to the fact that I made a thread about almost the exact same thing and alot of people gave advice about it, really, don't do that at all.

And 5:30 is nothing, try going to bed at 7:45 and having to wake up at 8:30 and then talk to me.

An interesting dilemma presents itself in this thread.

A boring poster starting a thread and Gooloseroooooose using a lame come back at him. Who to Flame? If I flame one does it look like I am agreeing with the other? Can I successfully flame both? Should I even waste my time?

The obvious answer is that Darkuwa should go fuck himself with Gooses tiny cock. Then Darkuwa should read his own post. If he isnt sleepy after that I dont know what will do it.

If only it had rubbed off.

You think they would have at least have the courtesy to leave a stain on the front of your dress.

For three fity you can get 30-something pills of Sominex, a nighttime sleep aid. If that doesn't help, drink yourself into a numbness and then try to fall asleep.

If that still doesn't help, take it to a doctor because persistant insomnia can point to you needing a stronger drug to help correct this 'imbalance.'

Got sleep aid, isnt working. Exercised, didn't do anything. Can't get my hands on beer, and the girl across the hall is out for the night. Its 1:30, I'll try again at 2. If I don't fall asleep by 3 I'm getting up to withdraw from ny 9 o'clock class.

Yes. My group of friends told me to **** off and never talk to them again. I missed the midterms in both physics and computer science, so I have to get near perfect scores for the rest of the semester. Well, starting college is a little stressful for everyone isnt it?

Time to crawl into bed again.

when I was in college I would take 20-24 credits a semester, I worked 2 jobs, was ina sorority & was on student gov....im not quite sure how I did it.
Try taking everything one day at a time..if you cant fix it now..then worry about it later. IOm sorry your friends were mean to you....they will get over and if they dont than **** em. friends get mad & fight its normal. As for Physics & Computer Science..talk with your professors and explain your stress...they are human and they understand. I did that before I had a huge breakdown and they were cool about rescheduling stuff for me.
try to find pleasure in what you do have. My husbands best buddy from his A school got his legs blown off in Afghanastan (they have to reoperate because the bone wont stop growing) also part of his hand, his wife divorced him and he basically wont be able to work ever again. He is thankfull that he can still see his little girl & that he lived to see her grow.

Often when I cannot sleep it is because my mind is racing.
I find a change of scenery does wonders. I get outdoors away from people and cars. Time slows down. Exercise helps, alot. A schedule is a great thing, too.

It is a long term problem. Training one's own body can be like training an animal. Keep trying for what you want and keep a simple, repeatable schedule. It takes time, but things seem to work out.
