Well, since i won't have time to post this tomorrow until the afternoon, here it is now. So what did everyone do this weekend?
me? i cleaned the FISH TANK FILTER OF DOOM!!!! <insert dramatic music here> I have a 55 gallon fish tank. it recently aquired a slight pest snail problem (unlike cool snails that destroy cities, these are tiny brown uninteresting ones that just eat plants and gum up filters). so i've been wageing chemical warefare against them. to do that, I had to turn of my fluidized bed filteration system portion of the filter so it wouldn't suck up all the chemicals. it had been off for about 2 weeks at this point (with primary filtration being handled by an over the back emperor filter) so it had some pretty nasty crap in it. plus to top it off, when i tried to restart it earlier, an air bubble sucked all the sand into the water lift tube, where it was most definitly not supposed to be. So, to prevent that from happening, i had to cut the tubeing and insert a bypass valve with a secondary overvlow, which i really should have installed the first time, but the directions for that filter didn't have one of them. . next, i got to drain a pile of crappy stinky sand into a bucket, and re-insert it into the correct spot after rinsing it. anerobic bacteria stinks.
anyways, after that, and cleaning the UV sterilizer bacteria killer bulb thingy the filter fired up with no unfortunate backsuckages this time. The fish are happy, the ghost shrimp are happy, and the remaining few plants are happy. Other than that, the rest of the weekend was driven from my mind.

Friday: Attended a drive by shotgun wedding.
Saturday: Spent the morning coaching soccer; spent the evening at our year end biker bash
Sunday: More soccer. afternoon, built a full-scale indoor soccer field for the kids (outside though). Evening, tested said soccer field with the kids. Made a new avatard.
The rest is history in the making.

Friday: Wasn't feeling good, so I sat around all day watching all the starwars.
Saturday:Cleaned up after fridays events, washed the car, went to a BBQ at a friends house.
Sunday:Nothing went to work. Now at work. Bleh.

Went to the County Fair, where I came out 60 cents ahead on the harness races, listened to some blue grass, played bingo, looked at pigs and ate one of everything. 
Watched a good movie called Off the Map on PPV - I'd recommend it. Sam Elliot and Joan Allen do a great job in their roles as a married couple living off the land in the New Mexico desert, but the actress that plays the 12 year old, Bo, is fantastic.
.....and tried to do some housework, yardwork and homework, but they pretty much lost out to EQ.

Spent the bulk of the weekend with mama-in-law and her sister. Most of the time we were at the Mall of America. My dogs were howling by the time we left.
Friday: Went to check out some buddies' new store. They're prepping it for the Grand Opening in 2 weeks. It's one of those E-Bay stores where they sell crap for people on Ebay and take a percentage of the sale. Some people are like slinkies, they aren't really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
Friday: Almost had a date but she never called back. Friends came over. We drank, played Kings, fu[b][/b]ck the dealer and Drunk Driver. My sadness was washed away with alcohol. Yay!
Saturday: Worked (@ DQ) from 11am-5pm. Played WoW pretty much the rest've the night.
Sunday: Got up @ 11. Watched football (damn Seattle! Win!). Worked DQ 5pm-11pm. Here now.

Didn't do a whole lot. Cleaned the house some and also organized a bit more. There's a lot of stuff in bags that I just tossed in my bedroom closet that I've been putting off going through. Bleh.
Also played EQ some. Just level 11 and I already lost my corpse, go me! I'm beginning to remember why I quit playing this game in the first place
Also learned that chicken legs will melt in the microwave if a 3 y/o cooks them. My house still stinks.

Friday night I spent waiting for some guests to arrive for the weekends fun. We had a mix up with phone numbers and all sorts, I eventually picked them up at 12 midnight!
Oh god, Saturday? I do not remember much of the end. 4 of us met in london and went touring the west end, lots of pubs and a meal in chinatown.
We had a lot of fun
I remember telling the boys to buy me small wines and not large (they seemed determined to flood me with drink .. men 
). I remember my feet hurting at the end of the night after walking all day around london.
The most bizarre part of the evening was the boys stopping to talk to "scientology" people who were selling their books in Oxford street .. at 10:30 on a saturday night
At one point in the night I thought I had lost my purse and ended up cancelling all my credit and debit cards. 20 minutes later finding it in my handbag afterall. Sometimes I hate myself
Thank god I have a full fridge and no need to spend money till my replacement cards arrive.

So i mumbled "sup" and considered ghetto smacking them, then i conculuded it would require too much effort. Later that night i got high and decided to confront them. They were already gone. I've decided to stab one of them next time i see them.
On sunday i woke up, took a shower, ate some pizza rolls and listened to the pharcyde until i fell asleep.

Tinkered on the hot rod most of the weekend. Almost got laid, spanked off to Denise Austin instead. (Momma went to sleep)

Saturday: Went to wedding. Went to reception. Went home. Started craving EQ suddenly, strongly, and out fo the blue. Went to Walmart(closest). No EQ. Went to Kmart. No EQ. Went to Target. No Eq. Went to nother Walmart. No EQ. Went home. Craving got worse. Scratched head for a bit, remembered old account name. Scratched head for a bit longer, remembered password for old account. Put bandaid on badly scratched head. Downloaded patcher. Downloaded EQ. Downloaded expansions. Got drunk in the midst of all the downloading and passed out.
Saturday/Sunday: Woke up, found that EQ was done downloading. Logged in, took my warr from 11 to 12 in Kurns. Swapped to Shammy, wandered around a bit, found out bazaar is all f'ed up now, and hill giants aren't where they used to be. Couldn't think of anything else super easy and profitable so close in, logged out. Remembered shamans get pets. Logged back in. Remembered the color scheme on spells indicates self/group/single target. Patted self on back, logged out. Took a nap.
Sunday: Woke up, logged on warr. played from 12 to 14 in Kurn's, decided to go looking for better spots. Went to PC, had to run like a little girl. Remembered how to make a hot key. Downloaded a UI that bites, but is still better than EQ default. Got in a group in PC, did well for 10 minutes till they added 2 that were too high for me to get xp. Went solo for a few minutes and decided I'd wind up training the zone if I didn't stop. Went to Shadeweavers, killed a few things, got bored and logged. Hopped on shammy, tossed a few free buffs in POK, got bored and logged. Vacuumed carpet, played with cat for a bit, went to sleep.
Totally uneventful, in other words.

This is the second weekend in a row that I wanted to play video game, yet homework and laundry took over. One day I am just going to crack and forget alll about homework and laundry and play video game all night. Then I will make a bad grade and have dirty clothes. I just can't win.
