I played FFXI for about a year and 2 months. Loved being a WAR and a SMN. I miss being both, but the level grind was fu[b][/b]cking unbearable and inflation ran rampant.
Loved the storyline and loved the jobs (esp WAR and SMN) but sadly left for the first 2 reasons. I miss Carby and my Great Axes.
Playing WoW now. I have a Great Axe (problem 1 solved) and pets are sooo much better on WoW than FFXI.
Never played EQ. I'm one of those peeps that played FFVII-->FFX, then just had to play FFXI to see what it was like. It was cool, but a letdown in the end.
Anyway, too each his own I guess.
