I didn't even really know what sex was till I was 10 I think...you started REALLY early Ambrya, but it doesn't make any of your thoughts and reasoning less valid.

My oldest was 5 when she came to me very upset over the fact that a friend's Ken doll had no genitals. Not even molded on underwear, like the newer ones have. "How could they have sex, when he was sexless?" was basicly what was her point of view.
Of course this was before her father went into the Barbie phase of being a Trannie. Seems at least they have bought into Mattel's marketing campain.

I think the first real kinda sexual instinct I had didn't manifest until about 13. It might have just been horrible repression though, even now, with me as liberal and open as can be with politics and ethics 'n stuff, I still have difficulty talking about sex.
Clarify for me, when you say age of five or eight, are you talking about mild curiosity or more of a real fantasy kinda thing. I could see something like Ken sans genitals upsetting, but that's a bit different than some full on submissive fantasy.

I'm not sure when I started having submissive fantasies, but I know it was before I turned 8. Course I had no idea what I was doing other then I liked to think about getting kidnapped by a mad scienist and touch myself. In my family sex wasn't talked about, so if my parents thought ************ was wrong, I was never told.

Mild sexual sadism, or S&M, has recently begun to be looked at more as a social phenomenon within a cultural context, although it is technically still classified as a paraphilia within the Sexual Sadism umbrella.
Evidence supports more of a behavioral base (as opposed to brain abnormalities, endocrine imbalances or any Freudian theory) and it occurs more in men than in women. It also shows a pretty decent co-morbidity, which means that people with this paraphilia usually hold at least one other, like masochism.

I remember at the age of five, I had a bed that had bar-like dowels in the headboard, and very distinctly remember imagining being bound with my hands tied to those dowels in a sexual context. Maybe I was slightly older than five though--I did have that bed for several years. I do know that the fantasy pre-dated my experience with sexual abuse, which happened at the age of 8.
I played with Barbie dolls from the age of 7 to about 11, and I know that Ken "ravished" Barbie a number of times.
Part of the reason I may have been slightly more sexually precocious than your average child is the fact that my mother did lead a very, er, "colorful" lifestyle. But I was at least partially removed from that, because from first grade on, I lived with other relatives and not with my drunk!****! mother.
