So I awoke in a Wrinkle in TimeFollow

Guess I forgot to set my alarm this morning or some rip in space/time has thrown me into the future.

I am driving to work and the car in front of me is sporting a VA Quad-centinial License plate:

1607--400th Anniversary--2007

So they are celebrating the anniversary of Jamestown. Thats great, but aren't theyjumping the gun just a little bit?

I was not able to spot a flux-capacator in the back of the car either.

In all things of this nature, I find it easiest to just blame Kelvy.

I blame it on Marketing. They're the ones who started selling Christmas supplies/decorations in October.

Though I'm not sure exactly who this Marketing is, it's just what my papa told me.

Went to Shop Rite (Grocery Chain) on Wednesday. Yeah the Christmas isle is already getting set up. Big inflatable Snowglobes and Snowmen. Smiley: oyvey

Must be the new "It" thing to have. I've seen that damn snowglobe at every supermarket since August. Smiley: banghead

Yeah they came around about 3 years ago and where kinda pricey. Now the price has dropped and the offer dozens of different types for every Holiday. Really gaudy if you ask me.

I do though have an 8' Miller Lite Football player blow-up that I am really tempted to put up in the yard. I think though my 70 year old neighbors and my Girlfriend would kill me. Besides it would clash with the pond Smiley: wink

I read this title to the tune of You've been saving all your nickels and dimes, gonna show someone a real good time.

Blame it on yourselves. When retailers sell 50% of their goods in 1.5 months, they try to stretch those months out. We like to call it "We have no ******* clue how else to make money, so we'll just make Christmas twice a year!"
