So I am on the mailing list to get advance tickets for all kinds of theatrical performances at a discount (subscription) rate.

My next batch are as follows:

Movin Out
The Boy Friend
Lord of the Rings
The Innocent Eye Test
Cirque Eloize Nomade
Wingfield's Inferno

Link to the overview for the others (and I already saw Wicked & Les Mis)

The only one I absolutely want to see is LOTR. Now, I have to say I am picky about seating, so I am only considering the cost for Saturday evenings, Orchestra or Box seats.

To get the package, I need to fork out $480 / person so $960 total.

This covers my wife and I for all 6 shows. The regualar box office prices would be $651/ person to see all 6.

We like theater, but that seems a bit hefty to fork out for these shows. What are your thoughts?

I don't know what cost of living and wages are like where you are, but I would not pay that for three shows. I'd be hesitant to pay it for 6, unless they were damned good.

To be more clear, that is the price for all 6 listed, as a "subscription".

Yeah Thesbian is someone who enjoys the theater. You see a lot of shows, not just a one time thing.

Now that you learned to use a dictionary, consider it a public service rendered, and stay out. That or post something related to the OP.

Did you ever see anything out of the ordinary happen in a performance? Like a big mistake or someone forgetting their lines, a death maybe?

I think they did the Phantom of the Opera movie really well. Though I can't compare it to the Stage performance as I've never seen it.
