What if I could tell you something that would change your life? Would you let me? Do you believe any one person has the power to influence the rest of your life with just one sentence? If it was a paragraph, would that make a difference? I guess that'd all depend on whether or not more equals better.
If I told you something that you didn't quite understand, should I bother to repeat it? Should I try to re-word it, or should I just shrug my shoulders, figuring that if you were meant to understand it you would have.
Should I try again at a later date? Do you believe I'd have any information or thoughts that you wouldn't be ready to handle at this point in your life? If I really did have such information, and you weren't ready to hear it, do you really think you'd know that you're just not ready for it yet and that it will be very important to you in the future?
Is anything really truly new ever created anymore? Is there any one thought or idea that hasn't been debated over and over by many people that lived long before our time?
Some say ignorance is bliss, but I say so is denial. I think deep down most people know that any word that comes out of their mouth, no matter what language, has been said countless times before by countless other peoples, to only God knows how many eager ears.
How do we manage to get excited anymore? If all we're really doing is taking old, ancient information and finding new ways of presenting it, or in other words, taking information that belongs to everybody and putting it in such an order that for the time being, makes it yours.
Have you ever said to yourself, "Oh, I could of thought of that", or "You took the words right out of my mouth". Did they really? Or did they only fail to create a unique enough collaboration of that Universal Knowledge that every body has access to.
People that we read about in books, the famous people we strive to be like and admire, why were so many of them deemed nothing special in their own life time? Is it possible we only find them so appealing now because they weren't praised/tapped of their uniqueness in their life time, so it somehow gives us the upper hand to say we understand them, and the only reason they weren't famous in their lifetime was because they were merely misunderstood.
Even if you've read this whole thought process, and gained something from it, it's very unlikely that you got from it exactly what I wanted to share, but it's good none the less, for just like every penny saved is a penny earned, every thought/idea passed from one brain to even just one open minded person's brain adds to the pool of knowledge and thus completes it's cycle.
While I believe that every thing has a beginning and an end, I also believe that many 'ends' are farther away than we can ever fathom, and I believe that the capacity of knowledge possible for one universe to ever have had, currently have, and will have in the future is so vast that it is beyond unfathomable.
Will there be a single person that is first to conceive the very last bit of knowledge possible for the universe to contain? Since it's not a tangible idea, and there is no way to officially credit or discredit the idea of there being a cap to the amount of knowledge in the universe, I'm going to live life believing in it and using it to my advantage as best as I can. This I can do with no fear, for if that day exists, myself and anybody that happened to read any or all of this and be affected in any way by it will be long time dead, as will anybody they would have told about it, as well as anybody that might have told, repeat ad infinum.
So, the short and sweet version:
One of the dumbest things to do is be close-minded, whether you agree with what I've said so far or not, quit using the God given gift of denial and remember that you don't necessarily have to like everything, but you sure as hell better accept every thing, because most mistakes can't be un-done, and it seems most people remember bad things about people easier than any praise they might have.
See ya'll in another month or so! I better get back to bubba, he gets mad when his ***** is gone for too long.
