psst! Totem, over here. Lemme tea bag ya, brotha

My Bob, but did that need a fix.

To+em's funny, but Smash and Moe are just as funny without always resorting to infantile humour that would make my nephew pee his pants.

Poo and pee are funny, but so is politics. Soemtimes you feel like a nut, etc. Just a personal preference.

Taking myself out of the equation for a minute, between Totem and Smash I would have to go with Totem, but only because Totem had (has?) more of an everyman feel about him. Consider the difference between Kerry and Bush. Regardless of your party affiliation, or his actions in office, I could never see myself sitting in a bar laughing with John Kerry. He always seemed too East-Coast-Liberal smug for me, where as Shrub still seems like more of a local watering hole kind of guy. Smash could never shake that smugness. He was never really able (in posting) to become accessible. Totem can and did (does?).

Well put, and an apt comparison.

Personally, my favorite is still Moe. He just gives me the warm fuzzies.

That's cause you're a Pubbie. To+em has mastered the art of acting affable, but he doesn't mean it. I'd rather get what I came for.

Totem does short stories. Smash does grafitti.

Each does his own form very well, but they can't really be compared.

gbaji does Bulgarian technical manuals, if you were curious.

Psst! That's why he won, so we could get what we came for, a guy who would sit there and shoot the breeze with us without reaching in our pockets. I'm white and not poor, remember?

I dunno, I think Totem's probably a pretty nice guy, as long as he's not ridiculing your mangled remains.

Smiley: laugh
Yep. I like 'em cranky, though. Moe should know that.
