The movie is about zombies (the old Resident Evil rip-off), not about demons like the game.

actually, the origonal game had zombies. the humans you fought were dead soldiers of the base controlled by the demons from the gate from hell.
and doom came BEFORE resident evil, thus, resident evil is a rip off from doom, which is a rip off from night if the living dead.
the trailer had monster demons in it too. not to mention you cant make a movie about doom without having imps running all around the place.
im sure it wont be a block buster, but i guarentee you it will be better than resident evil and tomb raider.
being a big doom fan, i cant wait to see it. i probably spent more hours playing doom 1,2,3 and the add on encounters all together than any other game i have ever played except mabe EQ-1.

How are they going to make a movie about a video game that well, pretty much lacked a story line?
