It's a fine thing to be proud of your home town. I live near (and work in) England's 2nd City, Birmingham.

And the place has such an awesome reputation (Ask Patrician - he's a Brummie) that there's a wonderful website dedicated to it called:

There, you'll find the 1970s promo film with genuine Telly Savalas voice-over.

thanks to the Terry Savalas reference and the part of the video where he is proclaiming the cities excellence and says "lets have a look shall we" followed by an extended creepy voyuer type segment watching women, then 5 seconds of staring at the sun then a shot of two men reclining.

No, actually, that's reserved for my hometown, Poughkeepsie.

Well, it's not exactly my hometown, but it is the nearest "city", 15 miles away.
