I won't really be able to get any serious playing time again until Friday night. Currently, level 7 Human Paladin.

Dammit, you people suck. Come play CoH with me. If you don't, you'd BETTER at least play City of Villains when it comes out. I'm already preordered and playing the closed beta, and it's insanely fun. I'm not kidding here, you guys better come play with me or I'm telling my mom. >_<

I did the EQ thing for a while; I found it very overrated. It just *wasn't* that fun to me. Besides, I don't have the time to devote to EQ these days. CoH is nice because I can sit down and play for ten minutes and actually feel like I got something done. And ten minutes is about all I have lately.

I played CoH since release and was invited into the CoV beta as a long standing CoH member. But the download would have been over a solid week on dial-up, they didn't offer discs to dial-up users as they did for the CoH beta and the entire thing just left me sour so I cancelled my CoH account.

I'll be the first to admit that dial-up is antiquated and they're under no obligation to accommodate us but, then again, I'm under no obligation to continue my subscription so everyone got to exercise their rights and should be happy Smiley: grin

Not to mention if you hadn't come back to EQ we would still be one bard short of a happy guild.

Naah I mean I logged in and he's a member. Strolled into the guild-hall without any hassle, and can see the AS Guild Window and stuff.

I understand that as a virtual n00b I may need to pass some initiation ceremony, but don't get excited Katie.

If it involves that thing you made me do in the hotel in Jackson, I'm outta here.

But my the rash on my tongue's cleared up now

I just don't like doing things I suck at, except for one.
And not that much.

see, the funny thing about this whole deal is that you can suck, and no one cares that you suck. not only that, but who else to teach you then all these people whom you verbally spar with daily for kicks?

In game isnt like it is here. For the most part we (gasp) act with respect to one another and help out in any way we can.

We've all sucked and started as newbies at one point in our lives, and we all remember how damn hard it can be for the game to click. So I would think if you actually wanted to try the game, you've got the best damn support system of players you could ever hope for.

It's a different story if you actually don't even care dont want to know, dont want to play deal. Then I go back to my first statement quoted above Smiley: tongue

Flea, you may not be a gamer, and you may not like EQ. But you should try it. You might be surprised.

What kind of Black Magic is this? I'm sure we had booted his britty butt??

Hey, glad I could at least see some of you guys tonight. I must say though, you're a pathetic looking bunch.Smiley: wink

Hit up someone already in the AS guild for clothes and stuff. We have tons of gear taking up space in the Guild Bank. I also have satchels full of junk on my trader I'll happily part with.

No thanks, girls. It's definitely what DSD said. If I thought I'd like it I'd try it, but I spend too much time on a computer as-is.

The thrill is just gone for me these days. I'm now 3 expansions behind with my main & feel like I'm too far out of the loop to ever catch up.

So I'm pinning my hopes on Vanguard, and waiting for it to come out.

I'm also behind on my expansions. I'm just up to GoD.

I won't say the game has quite "grabbed" me yet, but last night it kept me up later than I meant to be, and I had a lot of fun getting Katie and Kastigir killed. Smiley: grin

But I hate being a n00b again, so if I'm still having fun in a month or so, I may just bit the bullet, move my old toon, and buy a couple of expansions.
