Asylum EliteFollow

I recently bought City of Heroes hoping to catch someone from the Asylum on it. Jophiel told me people are going back and doing this "EQ" thing.

I was butthurt for like 43 seconds. It sucked.

Yeah... but I'm saving up to buy a hamster. It's about the priorities.

I'm patching EQ right now. Figured I'd run it this morning, that way I can actually try and get it to work tonight after I get home, heh.

Ok, TS... stop whining... you can play too. Sheesh.

Never!!!

I'll be available most nights after 9pm (baby goes to bed) except Wednesdays because Lost is on. Of course, I'll need a few days to not only remember how to play EQ, but adjust to the fact that it's so entirely different than when I played it that it may as well be a new game anyway.

Druid was my favored class before, but what does the guild need? I won't play a priest, I can't take the pressure in group, haha.

I actually swore off MMORPGs about a year ago. I just wanted to be IN.

So what nights are w- yall playing again?

We need a chanter, very badly.

I'll give it a shot, but I seem to recall playing an enchanter to be very frustrating, seeing as they are made of paper and can't heal themselves. Of course, with all the EQ changes, maybe they wear plate now and can self res. Beats me.

Xythex is right that Aude Sapere could use a chanter, but it needs like a level 60 chanter.

Coming in and starting a new toon? Play what you'll have fun with, or else, well, it just won't be fun.

The newest race/class combo is the evil frogs. Frogs now come in Necro, Shadow Knight flavors.

There is lots of other new stuff, the first you'll encounter will be the new tutorial. It's pretty cool and if you do all the tasks there you'll get you to level 10 pretty quickly.

Usual statement to play whatever you want. No sense in someone starting a cleric because we say we need them and then burning out because they hate playing a cleric.

We usually have a ton of DPS and not a ton of anything else. We have 2-3 potential tanks, only one of whom is really on in any constant fashion, a couple of clerics, only one alt enchanter I can think of, a lowbie shaman and that's about that.

Really, if you hated playing an enchanter, I'd be just as thrilled to see a shaman or another tank. Or you could just join the horde of rogues, rangers, wizards, mages and other DPS'ers

I play a pretty good enchanter, and I can always box a cleric on the second account. I'll have to figure out what days, though.

I also play a decent druid, rogue, monk, mage and beast lord. And who knows, if things heat up I may be tempted to move some of my big kids over.

What names should I look for, if I do this?
