Why do they do this? the start out with a spider egg sack on the bottom of a leaf. a little white dot, no harm in that right?
it pans to a butterfly. awww cute, then a garter snake shedding it's skin. Strange for a car commercial, but eh, ok.
Then the spider egg sack bursts. suddenly my screen is filled with 8 trillion little, undoubtedly poisenous spiders! I near **** myself whenever it comes on. I hate spiders
They should not be allowed to show spiders on tv. Ever.

I saw that one today as well. I thought I was having an acid flashback.

Some people are like slinkies, they aren't really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
I've never seen that commercial, but from how you describe it, I'd have to say the developers of said commercial were probably the ones on acid.
I've seen that commercial too, and as soon as i saw that egg sack on the leaf, i knew the commercial would not end in my favor. creepy creepy creepy... ick.
I generally leave spiders alone, but if any move towards me in a threatening manner (read, moves towards me at all) i'll squish the little snot.
Now millipedes on the other hand, they die on sight... *shudder*

I loves me some TIVO. Especialy with the crapy workschedule I have. Just get a season pass to the shows I like and I can watch them whenever. And no worries about having a blank/reusable video tape.

The bottom one is I believe a Cicada of some sort, the top one, i'm not sure what it is. either a cochroach or a stinkbug
