Cheapest gas around here is about 3.15 or so. The funniest part is that with the gas cap, everyone in Hawaii knows when the gas will be getting cheaper or more expensive, so this past Monday, everyone and their mother's friend's neighbor's cousin was filling up at Costco, which was only SIX cents cheaper than the deserted gas station down the street. I can't believe the amount of idiots willing to sit in line for over half an hour just to save six cents on a gallon. All week, every time I go past Costco, there's a line of almost 20 cars per pump. Gas stations are holding their gas when it's cheap and then can't sell it when it's expensive. The other day, my husband was filling up at a station that cost him 3.15 and he could see a Shell across the street that was 3.65 and another station across the other way that was 3.45. ?!
