An old roomate of mine WAS JW.

He "dropped out" wehn he was 37, after he had done nothing with his life (still a virgin, delivering pizza) because they taught him that nothing mattered because the world was gonna end.

But in that time he had no friends other than JWs, no life other than JW...

He's NOW trying to play catch up with his life.

My brother is 27 and a JW works for Wells Fargo making 100k+ a year.

My sister is 31 and a JW owns her own buisiness and takes vacations to Brazil for 3 months at a time.

I on the otherhand, have to smoke pole in the alley behind the Kingdom Hall to make ends meet. I make a pretty good living at it, the Catholics have got nothing up on them.

Fixed.

By the way, you never did answer my question.

I see your point.

However there is somthing to be said about the value of the sanctity of weak-willed people.

Some people are head-strong enough to "make it" such as your brother and your sister. Others feel safe merely doing waht is asked of them, which means that they will be preyed upon. I feel that this man was preyed upon by JW; not for money or blood, but for his simple endorsment. You siblings may be JH, but does that mean that they have given their entire lives to JH, as is waht is asked of it's followers?

They have, my brother is an Elder and my sisters husband is an Elder as well (becoming an elder takes many many years). My sis has been JW since aslong as i can remember.

They do teach that the world is gonna end but not in the sence that you should do nothing with ur life and just kick back and wait. Id try to elaborate but i havent been to church in along time.

Pot meet kettle, kettle, pot.

Now answer my question bitch! Contrary to your belief, ignoring me will not make me go away.
