You weren't supposed to laugh at it [:butthurt:]

Burned out on WoW?

I'm almost lvl 60 after coming back for a long abscense. Found a decent bunch of people to hang out with and been running instances and such. Spamming Shadowbolt and then using Darkpact is ever so entertaining :(

I never have the time to spend waiting for a raid to form, making sure it stays together, and going through the whole thing. After hitting 60 I just got bored doing the normal zones. I tried PVP and while I liked it, it just felt the same again only getting ganked by lvl 60 horde nonstop. I even tried EQ again and couldnt get myself into it.

Maybe I'm burned out completely of gaming for a bit. But I havent really played ion months and I dont feel the yearning to go back yet.

Thats pretty much where I was back in April-June, didnt touch a game and dropped EvE online and WoW. Came back to WoW and I'm enjoying it more with the new patches (hunters just got a big patch in 1.7).

I've been doing a lot of Instance runs with the guild, mainly ZF,Mara, and ST (lvl 49-55). Got my Alchemy up to 300 and a full bank full of herbs so I'm in demand from the guild and crafters in which potions are needed for armor sets.

I think the main part of me finally getting settled and situated in World of Warcraft was actively and aggressively looking for a good group of people to play with. I kept my eyes out, did some guild shopping and got into a good guild. I put up an add on the server forum that read like a personal, in which I tried to articulate my dislike for leet speaking idiots who cant figure out lvl 15 quests without help.

Plus Trickybeck dances naked at the AH everynow and then which you just cant miss.

How much is he charging for lap dances? Smiley: sly

I'm glad you finally got back into the game. I'd love to be able to have the time to sit down and do some good raiding. I still wish I went for my epic mount and all the great gear that the instances have. But with hunters aplenty on my server it's hard to find a decent group, and I'm just having a hard time going through it all over again on PVP.
It seems like the only time I go on now is really to record some clips of the game and make them into music videos. Even then I havent been on to record for awhile.

Lately I've just been putzing on the net at night, working on a fun project, or kicking Egyptian *** on Age of Mythology. It's nice hearing no leet speak Smiley: grin

Charge? You know he does it for free.

I've had my eye more on Rome:Total War. I enjoyed the previous ones and I've been watching (thank you bittorrent) that HBO series Rome.

Being a lvl 60 hunter must be a pain, its such a saturated class its as bad as being a Rogue on a PvP server. Warlock is a little different because I can summon people from across the world which makes putting a raid/instance group together easier. Plus the Soul Stone for healers. Other than that its just spamming Shadowbolt and debuff/crowd control.

What lvl was your Drood again and did you check it out after the patch revamped them?

My drood is low 30's. I like the drood but not nearly as much as the hunter. I did the whole druid/healing thing in Eq and while I loved it, I've noticed in WoW I much prefer to deal out damage than to prevent it. Plus the Hunter solos so much better IMO, both with speed and down time.

Are you back on Malganis again? I might drop by and say a little hello one of these days if I ever get the urge to play again

I'd play online games if I knew I had someone to play with on a fairly regular basis. I hate to solo, and pick-up groups are iffy. Also, I need someone who sort of knows me and understands that I have a 3 year old and I might have to hop up from the computer a couple of times.

I might even buy WoW Smiley: lol

Our internet just got turned on at home yesterday. So yeah, I wouldn't mind giving that a shot. Even if we just play some goofy toons for a few weeks, it might be fun.

Might want to wait til this weekend though. I'm still living out of boxes, heh.

Katie, you still in?

Well once again, Its just something to tool around on, plus if you use it right its way cheaper than any of those dateing sites. I know how sad this is going to sound but places like My space are probably the future of the internet.
