You're in luck. Most profesional Docters and Surgeons in the south don't have an accent.

I'd rather not have a Northern one.

Sersiouly... you don't want a doctor who was schooled in the south. Especially grades K-12. Though MUSC ain't that bad as a medical school from what I gather.

Nice, a bunch of people probably living in New England who like to make fun of the south. It may shock you that regional accents have nothing to do with intelligence. I wouldn't be surprised if some of you were those idiots on mtv.com that use the word "ignorant" every other sentence and then use stereotypes. Your generalizations of medical professionals in the south-east is an insult to doctors and nurses who work to help people. My aunt is a nurse in Louisiana, and yes she has an accent but it doesn't mean that she can't do her job.

Nope, won't shut up sorry. It's my god-given and constitutional right to speak my opinions. There is nothing unruly with what I said. I respect your right to say what you say, even though I don't agree with it and I expect you to respect my right to say my opinions.

If you want to play into stereotypes and condone that crap, it's your choice.

It's my choice not to support such outdated and misguided generalizations.

Actually, I don't have an accent at all because I no longer live in Louisiana. I just find it really offensive that people would make assumptions on the intelligence of my family because of their dialect.
