I just took my road test and now I have my full liscense and can drive whenever I bob-damn feel like it.

Soo, what do you think my insurance will be on a "mint" 1999 Neon at my age living in Canada?

Some sort of cyber-e-peen-sex will be awarded for the closest guess. Or 50 thousand Ogame res but not bloodly likely.

Assuming Goose is male, and young, his liability alone would be that much if not more. Add on theft, uninsured motorist and whatever the hell else you can think to add on, and it’s going to be more.

120$

That is all usually included in the premiums i've paid and seen.

I was also thinking about the vehicle, while your age makes a difference, the vehicle in question is not a sports car and 4-doors i'm assuming, which is another way to keep the price down.

$527 Canadian a year.

Gratz Goose. I'm not terribly interested in the cyberhoboepeen sex so I'm not gonna guess on the insurance but if your not going to put a loan on it at least consider I gigantic aluminum spoiler!

My 91 toyota tercel cost me a grand each year(before it got killed), but most cars are around that price anyways. When my buddy moved to alberta from here(manitoba), his car insurance went up to something like 1700 bucks, but in manitoba it was at 1200, so he claimed to still be living at home and that his apartment in alberta was just a place for him to stay while he worked. He got to keep his manitoban license plate and the lower price.

If you want to save money, talk to your parents. Have them put the car under their name, so the insurance is to them. If they have merits and a good record, you will be paying a good amount less.

Edit: Keep the resources and the pron.

Well I'm off to go drive for the first time on my own. I think I will get some lunch, or yell things at random peds - all that good stuff you do when you get your liscense.

The worst part about the drivers test was the Mexican sitting beside who smelt like the inside of a deteriorated heavy-smokers lung. He passed me so he's pretty much my best friend, well best "Mexicano amigo."

Ha Goose, what does that cover? Fire/Theft/Liability 1M @ $500 deduct.?

$525 does not buy you much insurance in Ontario even with 10 years clean record, over 24 discount and <5 year old car. Maybe if you have tits, because somehow chicks get cheaper insurance. Smiley: cry

Honestly, I'm pretty sure I'm completely covered. Believe it or not. Out west in Alberta and taking "Driver's Ed" for a combined 30 hours took off 300 dollars from my insurance. Driving a cheap car, although it's quite new, also brought it down some. I don't know all the details because my just phoned me and said that my insurance was all setup for me and that I could go out driving.

The greatest thing about all this - other than being the designated driver for the hot girl nextdoor to school - is finishing a round a golf and NOT having to call for a ride.
