Labelling slim-line CD jewel casesFollow

Okay, so getting off the whole political thing for a break...

My husband and I have a rather extensive collection of CDs and DVDs that we keep in slim-line jewel cases (the ones that are about half as thick as regular jewel cases.) Data storage, MP3s or DivX videos, VCDs and SVCDs I used to author, all sorts of stuff.

The problem is, the collection has gotten so extensive that digging through the shelves and shelves of slim-line cases to find the CD or DVD we need is a rather tedious and annoying process. Putting jewelcase inserts in them won't do us any good because we still have to pull the case off the shelf and look at the front of the thing to figure out what it is.

So...does anyone know of a good label for the SPINE of slim-line CD cases? I've looked everywhere and am coming up with nothing. Some CD labelling systems offer spine labels for regular cases, but nothing for slim-line.

So how about it...any suggestions?

Splurge for a front facing filing cabinet for them. That way you just flip through them, much faster than squinting to read the itty bitty writing on the spine labels.

Even if you do find a labeling system, how are you going to read those tiny labels? I agree, a front facing system is the way to go if your going to use those tiny cases.

Here's an idea. Buy a large cd book and store them in there. Dump the cases. They take up space, collect dust, and look tacky in a living room.
