As I sit in the shade of an Oak Tree beside my moated castle, sipping warm beer, I wonder, how does the world view England through its rose tinted pince-nez?

As Pat and tarv will avouch, we all live in castles, have butlers, horses and mistresses, live exclusively on boiled beef and have no chins.

We are devoutly loyal to Her Britannic Majesty, go on strike at the drop of a stovepipe top-hat, say 'pip pip' and 'whoops-a-daisy' regularly, and have at least 5 servants.

It's always raining, but we talk about the weather all the time, and we drink 15 cups of tea every day (It's the law).

So (apart from voting for Bush's prime cock-sucker) what is the US view of we Englishmen?

Well, I think that many of us, we Americans that is, feel that an important branch of your British government is seriously underfunded.

I am of course talking about the BDA.

That and David Beckham is like real important to you guys.

My opinion of English people is skewed because the only one I ever really got to know well was the over educated daughter of one of the head man of Shell.

They lived in giant estate and her sister had her favorite horse brought over from England so she wouldnt get home sick.

That and english slang is much superior/amusing than NA slang.

"Pip-pip, tally ho, are ye up 'fer a spot of tea and crumpets and possibly a game of cricket?"

"Oh, terribly sorry chap, I forgot my shin guards."

"No worries mate, we'll play without them!"

"Preposterous!"

Pear-shaped = "Tits-Up"

Insane = "A sandwich short of a picnic"

Crazy = "As daft as a box of frogs"

Dumb = "If his brains were dynamite, they wouldn't part his hair"

I was listening to the live version of Razor's Edge by AC/DC and Brian Johnson was doing his usual singing while taking a shit routine and belting out the song.

He kept adding "cut yourself" after the end of every repeat of the chorus. Except it sounded like touch yourself.

Why did Dracoid have to go and get himself banned?
