The study's were of cases of paternal discrepancy, which would lead me to believe that there was some suspician already. I would believe that 1 in 25 of children of fathers suspicious of paternaty turned out to not belong to them but I would suspect the overall number is smaller

Actually, that's probably pretty much true around here. Most of the women here in good ole Portsmouth are complete slags and will copulate with anything as long as it has something vaguely phallus shaped. Contraception seems to be an unknown concept - in fact, babies are a handy method of getting free housing!
