Is it ever too late to go back to school?Follow

Well... I've always loved English and literature and creative writing, and I always wanted to teach. It's not about money for me, as long as I make enough to pay what bills I have I'll be happy. But I think I'd make a good English teacher. It's a passion of mine, and I'm sure it would be infinitely more satisfying than working as an administrative assistant or a receptionist or data entry clerk. I'd like to be able to say I made a difference in someone's life. I was very fortunate in school to have some amazing English teachers, one of whom really DID change my life. As trite as it sounds, I'd like to be able to give back what I was given.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I had no idea so many adults go back to further their education. That makes me feel a bit better about it. I guess I'll be looking into enrolling in autumn. =)

I think it's a fine decision,
My little brother is 19 years old,he left high school 3 years ago.because he was bored and he doesn't find anything interesting at school.
Recently i saw that he a lot interested in cars ( all men are ^_^)
So, i got informations and printed stuff for him about a school that helps you finish high school classes in private + they give diplomas for 'cars,mechanics,etc...'
I'm there to help him for sure,i truly hope he gets back to studies so he can find a good job that he'll like!

So, it's never too late!

Honestly, the satisfaction you will get by accomplishing that will far outway the stress of actually doing it.

If I had 3k, I would be back at University of Tulsa in a heartbeat. I only have 13 hours left with a double major, however the tides turned near the end and I have Kai instead of my degree.

You know shes 15 or so, right?
