The man hasn't been to the funeral of a single soldier killed in Iraq, but he's going to the memorial for the Boy Scout leaders killed this week...

Unbelievable. That man's priorities are wayyy out of whack. Anyone got an antidote for a terminal case of cranial-rectal inversion to give him?

I would assume it's because soldiers are still being killed in Iraq. And many more will most likely be killed.Lets not forget, it's the soldiers job to be in harms way.

Boy scouts are not ever in harms way, but are American as apple pie. He did the right thing.

When our guys are pulled out of there, I am sure there will be many memorials the president will attend.

So, we're saying that because Americans are still dying in Iraq that it's okay for Bush to continue to ignore the entire situation? I wouldn't hold my breath to see if he'll go to a military memorial, that has to do with Iraq, after we stop dying over there, because that "war" will never be over. We will be there forever, and we will die there forever.

If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention.

Yes, by all means. Let's have the leader of our country attend every funeral/memorial service for every American soldier that dies in Iraq. He'll get a lot done then. I'm sure he's ignoring the whole situation quite well. It's not like he doesn't have constant reminders of it every waking moment. I'm no big fan of Bush, but please.

Thanks for your input Scooter.

Don't kid yourself, the policy in the Boy Scouts is quite similar to the military. As long as they don't know about you're in.

You think Bush hasn't been to any war memorials? Do you know how many families he's personally met with and talked to whose kin had died in Iraq? Honestly, find something better to bash him about if you're going to do it for the sake of things.

If the President had been attending funeral's/Memorials of the men and women that have died in Iraq and Afaganistan the Left would be ******** that he was capitolizing on the deaths of these young soldiers. It doesnt matter what he does to doesnt do some people just hate him so much that no matter what he does it's wrong.

did you check to see if the place where they hold their jamboree is sitting on a known potential oil supply?

These are the people who are leading our youth?

I thought the boyscouts promoted common sense and survival skills, maybe I was wrong...

Typical I hate Bush because I'm a dishonourable piece of sh*t liberal thread.

What a bunch of losers you f*gs are.

You people live such sad and pathetic lifes I don't know whether to be enraged that society could produce such filth or saddened by your complete lack of morals and concept of right and wrong. I mean for christs sake do you pieces of sh*t think Iraq is worse off now than under Saddam? Your answer to this one simple question says it all.

I am comforted by the fact there is a God and we will all be judged by our actions one day.

I am comforted by the idea that we will all be judged someday, too, and that hateful hypocrites like yourself, who pretend to believe in God but completely reject the message of love and tolerance that Jesus spread, will be the first to get your asses zapped with the Divine lightning bolt.

The J-man wasn't big on hypocrisy...

Try reading my post again. I never said anything about Saddam or the state of Iraq. I simply think it's indescribably lame that the man hasn't bothered to attend the funeral of a single soldier he sent to their death, but can keep scores of young boys waiting in record-breaking heat getting heat stroke to capitalize on an accident.

If the President was the reason your son or daughter died, would you really want him at the funneral?

This is the kind of liberal rhetoric that got millions of russians killed in the archepalogo's. The kind of rhetoric that encouraged people like Pol Pot and Hitler to engage in acts against humanity. Not everyone lives in your imaginary Utopic world. Some want nothing more than to hurt others and cause pain. And I don't give a f*ck what you say tolerance of evil is not once supported in the Bible.

Tolerance for Hitlers actions cost 100's of thousands of americans their lifes. Perhaps if Roosevelts commy as* had done something about it before France was overrun those deaths could have been prevented.

I know you're hatred has blinded you to the obviousness of what i'm going to say; but i'll say it anyway. Bush was elected by the people to represent them. It's these soldiers duty to follow their commander and chief. Now I know that's a complicated concept for someone as brainwashed as yourself to understand but it's a fact. The MAJORITY of the people support Bush. So keep spouting off how Bush got these people killed it merely affirms what i've been saying all along.

300 Scouts Sickened By Heat While Waiting For Bush

Why would any Scout leader think of having the Jamboree at A.P. Hill is beyond me. July + heat + humidity at A.P. Hill is just asking for scouts to get sick from heatstoke.

Having grown up around Washinton D.C without A/C for the most part, we learn young how to stay out of the heat. Now it seems folks don't know how to live without A/C.

Personally I don't think Bush should have taken time out of his schedule to attend a funeral for a bunch of idiots who will most likely win a Darwin Award.

Big Tent + Big Metal Pole+ Power Lines = WTFOMGBBQ Scout Leaders. Parents trust these people to take care, teach and protect their children. If these people had lived through some miracle they should be charged with endangering the youth they were put in charge of.

I don;t even know why they were so close to the power lines to begin with. When i was younger and went to Jamborie we didn;t set up anywhere near any power lines.

As far as liking or disliking Bush, I don't either way, I am Canadian and am more worried about who is running our country atm. If i had been one of the many Canadians who came out to see Bush when he came here, I wouldn't have been one of the many (majority) of Canadians who gave him the middle finger.

Of course the majority of US news I get is from "The Daily Show" lol, so I take it with a grain of salt lol.
