I was sitting in the sauna at my old house once and put peppermint oil in the water to help the ole sinuses a bit.
Anyway, I got some peppermint oil on my hand and then itched my nuts... it burned for a good hour or so, and since it was oil there was really nothing to be done but just let it run its course.
