London Underground confirmed that services on three lines -- Victoria, Northern and Hammermith and City -- were suspended following the incidents, according to PA.
Passengers at Warren Street reported seeing smoke but police could not confirm this.
Ivan McCracken told Sky News: "I was in a middle carriage and the train was not far short of Warren Street station when suddenly the door between my carriage and the next one burst open and dozens of people started rushing through. Some were falling, there was mass panic.
"It was difficult to get the story from any of them what had happened but when I got to ground level there was an Italian young man comforting an Italian girl who told me he had seen what had happened.
"He said a man was carrying a rucksack and the rucksack suddenly exploded. It was a minor explosion but enough to blow open the rucksack.
"The man then made an exclamation as if something had gone wrong. At that point everyone rushed from the carriage."

I hope someone had the presence of mind to stop Mr. Exploding Rucksack for the authorities.

I think what varrus fails to realise is that the last attacks were commited by British Nationals, my best guess is that this is a copy cat attack by the same people.

Quick note on that 25,000 iraqi civilian casualties I always have in my sig. To break it down 9% are from insurgent attacks, 36% are crime related and I believe the remaining 55% are all done by the USofA.
Secondly the US military branches are all having trouble meeting there recruitment quota. They are starting to rotate troops out of Iraq now that the election is over but they are still keeping troops and needing replacements. Same with Afghanistan. Of course if you need to make excuses as to why you cannot serve your country then fine, thats great.

I'm also pretty sure there is a high demand for graduates with associate degrees from Appalchia Foothills Junior College to fly those expensive planes the USAF has.

LOL...I have degrees in poly sci, history, and philosophy. That coupled with my management experience running this business and my pilots license makes me a high commodity. And if the military would be willing to pay me 6 figures i'd probably go. But i'll be d*mned if I spend the prime years of my life earning potential wise to get paid poorly while that same govn is paying bums to be lazy.

LOL...I have degrees in poly sci, history, and philosophy. That coupled with my management experience running this business and my pilots license makes me a high commodity. And if the military would be willing to pay me 6 figures i'd probably go.
