The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
If your Network Administrator has enabled it, Microsoft Windows can examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings.

Major FFXI update, they are rioting over in the forums. Will be a couple of days until the madness wears off.

Alot of that, I think, is due to the heavy FFXI traffic on the site, with most of them refreshing by the second, it kills the site :(

(FFXI had a big update, so there's dozens of threads of "Can't get the update, damn you SE", complaints about the patches, arguments, rate changes, poo flinging, etc. You know, the usual).

Didn't really feel it until this morning, I typed a long post and then I got the Page cannot be displayed error, then I said ***** it, and closed the browser, I'm not typing it again, too lazy.

I need to get premium.

In the past 30 mins, 35 I can't get the update to download threads over in the FFXI boards.

Its disgusting these are my fellow players and they fucking drive me nuts. Annoying to level headed (patient) FFXIers and a hassle for everyone else on Allakhazam.

PS Yeah the post count was 1337 till this post. Smiley: clap

Try wow.allakhazam.com instead. I've had far better luck with that URL then my usual news.allakhazam.com - at least for the forums you can get them all.

Doh! As I go to hit the Post button, I'm getting the error.

Take a look at the update on the front page. It's got over 1,200 comments on it. That has got to be a record!!

And on a side note, gawd what a frickin' huge update. I'll have to call in sick to work the next 4 days to get all that in. :(

I am just pissed that I have to sit there and download some huge fucking update so I can send off all my itemsto friends and delete my content IDs.

It is pretty annoying I think..

(And the update I downloaded should have been larger, it took me like 10 seconds with no dling or installing, and it lets me log in. Thats pretty screwed up.. -_-)

3666 users viewing the forums atm. That would probably explain it.

Also, apparently Satan is visiting as well.

The ultimate irony is replying to a thread entitled "The page cannot be displayed" and getting... you guessed it.
