I live in northern Wisconsin where the winters see -30 degrees Farenhiet and the summers usually only reach a humid low to mid 80's. This weekend we are supposed to reach a high of 96 degrees.

If northern Wisconsin is hitting a humid 96 degrees, what are some of you who live in more southern areas looking at for temps this weekend, and how do you live with it?

I will proably be in my apartment with the AC cranked cause my girl will be at work, or else I would be in Lake Michigan swimming for sure.

I'm up in Montana we have been sitting in the high 80s - lower 90s. This weekend is forecasting all mid 90s.

So to beat the heat we are boating and camping on the beach. There is a big Lewis and Clark shin-dig going on, so some of the beaches have bands, so to sum it up beerz, boating, swimming, jammen.

10 more min. and I turn over the network, and I'm out! Wo Hoo !!!

Have a great weekend everyone Smiley: waycool

It's like a mosquito soup out here, but the woods have never been more beautiful and my morning drives are like a car commercial.

Pretty average summer in TN. High humidity, temps in the high 80's to mid 90's. Not seen 100 yet.

Weather? What's that? It's been a nice 80ish degrees, with a comfy offshore breeze where I live.

What? You don't all live in S. California about 1/4 mile from the ocean?

Thank God, no.

Toasty around here in the 90's but it's summer as usual. Biggest issue is a lack of rain which, for me, just means I haven't had to mow my dormant lawn for the last six weeks but it's causing the farmers hell.

Most of the past month here in New York has been oppressively hot and humid. Regularly mid 90s and a constant haze so thick I can't see half the Tappan Zee Bridge or the other side of the Hudson. And...my new apartment has no (working) A/C.

Summers always make me want to move to Alaska. Smiley: frown

We get thunderous, flooding downpours at least 2 times a week. A 20-mile commute sometimes takes 3-4 hours to get home when it's raining 2-3 inches an hour.

I also happen to live in Wisconsin, Madison to be exact. I've been hearing recently that some government body plans to throw some million dollar figure at our tourism department in the hopes of creating a new slogan. I believe the current one is "Discover Wisconsin" or some nonsense.

I saw my brother the other day and he had a spiffy new t-shirt that proclaimed exactly what we should change it to.

-drumroll-

"Wisconsin"

-Insert picture of Jeffrey Dahmer-

"We Eat People"

What does this have to do with weather you ask?

-throws a smokebomb and escapes-

Yup - kinda nice, eh? Mid-upper 70s here (Santa Barbara) - very comfortable. Wife just got back from 3 weeks in Pennsylvania and Indiana and is VERY glad to be where it's cool.

Now the REST of CA (those areas AWAY from the beach - THAT's a different story.

You make me miss San Diego...Born and raised in San Diego and the weather totally spoiled me for anything else. So when I moved 300 miles north of San Diego to the Fresno area (and this was not by choice), the idea of ice on my cars and heat over 95 degrees is killing me. I so wish I was back there again.

But by Fresno, high is 108, supposed to reach 110 this weekend.
