ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) -- A former star of the "The Dukes of Hazzard" TV show is urging fans to skip the forthcoming movie version, calling it "a sleazy insult."
Ben Jones, a former Georgia congressman who played the wisecracking mechanic Cooter on the popular series from 1979 to 1985, said profanity and sexual content in the film make a mockery of the family-friendly show.

Sorry Cooter, but your show wasn't all that wholesome to begin with. Back in the day, those Daisy Duke's (shorts) were pretty controversial. IIRC there were a couple episodes where Daisy wasn't wearing a bra.
Also, anything with Jessica Simpson in it that includes "sexual content" is bound to grab my attention. She may be a ditz, but she sure fills out a bikini. I caught one of her videos on MTV this morning when I was getting ready for work. Her rendition of "These Boots are Made for Walking" had my pants feeling funny.
On a completely unrelated note, I was late to work.
