I was just wondering what the current project you are on is?

not to start a fight or anything, I just love science and physics in particular

This is what PM's are for. So you can flirt shamelessly and we don't have to read your stupid crap.

And here I thought this was a letter to Beelzebub or something cool. Smiley: frown

working at los alamos national lab.
we are attempting to make a 3D working simulation that perfectly models retina response(response of the cones, ganglion cells, Hcels, and bi-polar cells to various stimuli). Once we have this working we can drastically improve visual prothestics. Imagine that, cureing blindness in the next 10 years. ^^

sounds like really fun and interesting work

oh ya,.... i made a nice plot of bi-polar cell response to a steady state input....

actually i prefer to work on the experimental side, dont much care for the computer simulations.

Well, when you get done with that, come over here and fix my eyes. I'm tired of these contacts, and they're driving me nuts today.

ya,. i hate my contacts, but i doubt retina prothetics will be available to those who just want to fix their vision any time soon. on the other hand, if you gauge your eyes out with hot pokers we might have something... although thats kinda what contacts feel like to me >.<

My contacts actually feel a bit like sandpaper today. And aside from not having the money for lasik, I'm too chicken to go through with it.

"You want me to lay here, awake, while you slice open my eye with a laser and I get to watch? Yay, sign me up 3 times!"
