Being an adult is all about laughing at the kids who think they're cool for posting on a web forum "OMG I'm doing drugs!!"

I already did the kid part of it. Now I get to do the other half!

I'm still hanging desperately to the notion that I'm not that old yet. Not quite.

In the movie Traffic, they have a painful portrayal of how boring the kids are when they get high.

Yes, I'm sure when you are high, it's the Doors of Perception for you, and maybe that's great for you, but what seems to come out of the mouth is really dull stuff. (Yes, I read the book).

Yeah, I have been ******** about Jophiel's vibes for years now but no one ever listens. Every time I read one of his posts it makes me want to eat bite sized marshmallows and sing Gordon Litefoot songs.

Lysergic "acid" diethylamide. It's not actually an acid.

However, not everyone can be born creative or interesting, so knock yourself out, Hippo. At least you're consistent.

Recently I watched a documentary called "Hoffman's Potion". A very interesting documentary about the use of hallucinogenic substances for psychoanalysis, specifically LSD.

All of the psychologists in this documentary despise Timothy Leary because he introduced it to the underground drug world and it lost any credibility as a legitimate psychoactive compound that can be used in the treatment of various psychological disorders. All of the doctors involved in the research were required to actually take the drug to see its effects on the mind. All of the doctors reported positive results on their minds as a result of the use of LSD. They did use it in a carefully designed and controlled environment to create maximum positive enforcement. Still, the research was all positive.

To me, it just shows how easy it is to demonize some chemical substances that humans ingest, while allowing other substance that are just as harmful or more harmful to be taken at will.

Examples like Alcohol, that wonderful substance that humans drink by the gallons. Alcohol the destroyer of livers and lives and minds, but you can buy it over the counter at your local liquor store.

Viagra, that substance that can give you an erection on demand so that you may indulge in sex, but heaven forbid you give your mind an erection with a psychoactive substance, internal mind ************ is dangerous you know.

Perscription drugs of all types that have side effects all over the spectrum, but may possibley help one specific condition if you don't mind a dozen other problems that result.

A society of mindless drones that fell for the drug campaigns but still go to the local bar and get mindlessly drunk. Good for you, keep up the good work and just say no. I say no because I don't like the effects anymore and drug connections are too dangerous due to the links the connections have with criminal organizations.

To the OP, hope you had a good trip.

I don't give a rat's *** if you take any of these. But if you post saying "Dude, I'm so drunk!", "Man, I have such a hard-on!" or "Holy cow, my microbodies are getting their ASSES kicked by this amoxicillian!" I'm still going to laugh at you.

I think you're mistaking this as some holier-than-thou drug crusade when, actually, it's just us laughing at people acting stupid.

"Give your mind an erection"? That was probably the stupidest turn of a phrase I've heard all month.
