I'm a co-leader of a guild on Mistmoore, have a 47 Pally, 26 Swashbuckler, and a 22 Dirge.
Yeah, I'd say the game is pretty good, especially if you played and liked EQ1 for a while. It gave me all the things I wished I had in EQ1, there are always monsters that you can kill solo for good exp if you feel like soloing, and there are always groups looking for players if you feel like grouping. If for some reason there isn't a group looking for players that I'd like to join, it's never taken me more than 5 minutes to find 5 other people to group up with.
I love that any race can be any class. Want a gnome shadowknight? You got it. Want an ogre wizard? Sure, go ahead!
The island you start on doesn't do the game justice. There is so much content, so many fun quests, so many rewarding items, and so many cool abilities/spells.
I'd give it a 9/10

I hav a 27 wizzy on Lavastorm, but haven't been on EQ2 much since Mia started teething. Hopefully, I can get back into soon. I like the tradeskilling stuff. It puts me right to sleep at night.

I really hated EQ2 at first. I kept having a lot of chat/movement command interference. Once a patch came along that fixed that, I began to actually like it.

Graphics are yummy, atmosphere is A+.

I canceled my account to play CoH with Joph. I don't have time for two games. But I really like EQ2. I'll probably start back up again. I've got a 26 assassin and she's tons 'o fun.
