I think the most vivid dream I had (simular to yours) was one where I would guess that I was blindfolded and kidnapped. "They" pointed a gun to my head and I knew what was comming. I remember pleading for life but well...the trigger was pulled dispite of it.
I actually felt the bullet tear through and blood pour out before I woke up. It was horrid.
Why is it that all of our most vivid dreams are nightmares? Why can't they be happy, like you're flying with the birdies...
Anyway, my most vivid dream was I was running from some monster that always seemed to pop up wherever I was. I remember that said monster looked a lot like the Tyrant, from the Resident Evil series, though I hadn't played RE for a year or so, so I doubt that caused the nightmare.
Regardless, said monster somehow got ahold of me, and was holding me up. I remember feeling extreme terror, and desperately pleading for my life, or at least to make it quick when it did kill me.
To be honest, that was the part that scared me most. Just that feeling of helplessness, and me pleading for my life. I'm not the kind of person that would plead for life. I know it sounds like I'm full of it, like it's just something of an ego-booster, but I'm the sort of person who would stare death in the face, and not plead for anything. If anything, I wouldn't give my attacker that bit of satisfaction. That they get to see me plead for my life, or at least to give me a quick death... I'm just not that sort of person.
Regardless, the last thing I remember about that dream is the monster slamming me underneath the opening for a garage door, grabbing the garage door... and I'm sure you can figure out the rest.
I clearly felt the emotions that happened there. After that dream, I felt sick to my stomach, and ended up not going to school that day. That's just how horrified I felt. It's amazing just how much your mind can scare you when you let it do its thing.
