Why, didn't you hear? He went on a Disney cruise, was appalled at the workers' plight, and will definitely go again because it was such fun!

I agree with VVillow on something to do with politics? I just caught a chill.

Pf, I avoid political threads, but not really stupid ones. Stupid ones, they're fun to ridicule. I don't want to read about how incredibly doomed the country is, or argue how precisely the world is going to end. I just go on laughing at the way George W squints and talks.

Never fuck with Joph and Sam. I learned this a long time ago. Now I just go after the weak and sickly. They don't put up much of a fight.

Nice. Look. How about before you judge that those "evil bush supporters" will not respond to you with logical well thought out arguments based on valid premises and facts, you *first* come up with some complaints based on the same criteria.

All you did was list off a set of conclusions about Bush. Don't you think it's just the tiniest bit of a double standard to think that "Bush ruined the economy" is a perfectly valid argument, but then demand a response that's more then "did not!"? If you want logic based discourse, you need to start by providing one yourself. When all you do is rattle off some rants about Bush, in a thread titled "I hate Bush" no less, it's a bit hard to take you seriously.

I am not a Bush supporter. I was optomistic when he was elected, but as time as droned on, I have realized how disconnected he is with the average American. He never says anything, his speeches closely represent that of a nervous fifth grader. A long time ago, if he had wanted to catch the public's attention, he should have had a nice long broadcasted speech, that no one wrote for him where he was very direct and honest with the country. All his speeches say the same damn thing, and there is never anything new about them.

People's support begins to dwindle when a you cannot even effectively communicate your motives for your actions and the purposes of why you are doing whatever it is your are doing. Right now I have almost no idea what is really going on behind the scenes and where this country is headed. Bush's failure to communicate with the world and with the citizens of this nation have made many things worse. I have started to cringe at the country accent of that man that does not truly address any issue and that fails to use complete honesty with the people to explain why things are going as they are.

It's probably just me, but it seems like its been a while since theres been a really gifted public speaker/speech writer in office. I'm no authority on it, but important modern public announcements and broadcasts by the last few presidents have been very formulaic and dull. Ever notice the way that Bush pauses inappropriately every 3-5 words, for no reason other than to keep the pace of the speech at a level that he's capable of handling? And even the speech writing that's done for him is so straightforward and uninspiring. It's done to hammer away at points without any complexity of language, even when referring to things in generalities (when it would be so much more appropriate). I certainly hope that this isn't actually supposed to be a way of reaching the "average american"...

Whenever I hear one of the inspiring speeches of the past, like those given by Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy, or Reagan, I can't help but feel like we're starting to lose touch with that color and intensity, in favor of safe, formulaic prose.

Do any of you honestly believe, that George Bush Jr. would've even been sitting in the White House, as president of the United States, if it weren't for the fact that he's the son of ex-president George Bush Sr.?

He won the American presidency by a valid democratic election. For better or worse he was chosen by the American people to lead this nation.

KILL BUSH!

Reasons: He killed Tens of Thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens.
If you don't believe me, don't try the "media hasn't reported that" card; the media gives out what the public wants to hear OR it has to be pro-American.
So that America doesn't look bad.

He tries to impose his own "moral values" to the rest of the world. Democracy isn't the ONLY good system of government, people. If you have good people, Communism and Bureaucracy are excellent forms of government.
The same holds true for Democracy.
Which we don't have.
It's a Republic.
We are "represented" by the congressmen (and women) who may still be corrupt.

Democracy counts EVERY vote, not this Electoral College crap.
Now with television and radio and the beautiful internet, people in Oklahoma and other "non-politically involved" can still have a well-founded opinion on the President, and we don't need states to be underrepresented and blah blah blah.

Bush is just trying to front his policy on things at home like Education.
He doesn't care **** about education.
He's a dumbass who had C's at Yale.

And with cash like his, who needs good grades to get into a good ivy league college?

Moreover, any of you gentlemen and rednecks know about the Gentlemen's Curve?
It's where good colleges curve the grades of failing students up to a C so that it doesn't make the school look bad for accepting such an idiot.

I mean after, can we doubt the eternal wisdom of such a character?

"If you teach a child to read, he or HER will be able to pass a literacy test." -Dubya

"The illiteracy level of our children ARE appalling." -Your favorite comedian, who happens to be the joke of our country (Yes, Dubya, you thick-skulled imbeciles.)

It's evident that he doesn't know what he's doing FOR our country, it's for himself, to make himself look good.

There was a commercial with Georgie, where he reads to the children.
One of his campaign ads.
HE WAS HOLDING THE BOOK, UPSIDE-DOWN!

GENIUS!

He is certainly focusing at where our problems are, at home...

Corruption...
Where should I start?

**** Cheney seems to be a former CEO of an oil company...
Who he is still in good relations with...

And they are in the Middle East, where an enormous amount of the world's crude oil is?

Coincidence?
Maybe...
You be the judge.

In the 2000 election, Bush vs. Gore,
they stopped the counting in Florida, not to mention discarded thousands of votes.

Hey! Would ya' look at this?

JEB BUSH, Georgie-porgie's wittle brother is governor of Florida?!
