I regret that I have but one life to give for my country!

Ok seriously, or at least as serious as can be here, my biggest regret is cheating on the woman I should have ended up marrying.
Cheated once, lost her and will never cheat again.

My only regret is blowing the chance to form a relationship with my high school best friend. Thru letters when I was in the service we discussed giving dateing a shot when I got out, but I reinlisted and moved on. I shouldent of. I miss my best friend.

I've had a few.

But then again, too few to mention.

Life has been pretty much been happy and fulfilled thus far, so no heart cutting, deep in the bone regrets for me. Only regret I can think of right now is never having a place of my very own and being on my own before I got married. Went straight from my parents' home to my husband's home (hey raised in a very traditional family). But then again, if I lived on my own, I'd probably say my regret is not doing the traditional thing and going from my parent's house to my hubby's house.

Grass always seems greener on the other side... /sigh

Well when I was younger (12 or so) my mom was not gonna let me do something, like a party or sleep over or whatever.

So we are riding in the car and I am being an ***/yelling and I told her:
"I wish you and dad never adopted me." (yes, Im adopted). Well the look on her face and the silence that followed... Im actually kinda tearing up now thinking about it.

My mom just stared forward and drove home.

I look back at that and I am disgusted with myself. My parents have done any and all things in their power to assure me a great life. Especially my mother who has never even raised her voice. She is like Marge Simpson minus the blue hair. She is so kind and sweet and never deserved hearing such a comment.

I am teh sux.

Regrets?

Wasting my life away on computer games and gaming forums.

That pretty much sums it up.

I don't have any real regrets as each important event in my life was instrumental in bringing me where I am now which is a pretty damn good place. I've made mistakes, I hope I have the wisdom to have learned from them and not repeat them, but in retrospect each played its part in making my life what it is today.

why do we hurtle ourselves through every inch of time and space
i must say around some corner i can sense a resting place
with every lesson learned a line upon your beautiful face
we'll amuse ourselves one day with these memories we'll trace

Regret, hmm, nope! Can't say I do. Mind you, I have considered how things would have worked out had I made different decisions, but as of yet I cannot say I regret anything.. Except for starting to post here.. Give me a few years, I still have time to regret something.

I regret not hopping on WoW to bid on that engineering schematic before the servers went down this morning. I know somebody outbid me during the night, I just know it! >:(

As for stuff that's actually important, no, nothing. I like my job, my husband, even my cat, even though he's coughing up extra hairballs lately with summer's arrival. All the bad stuff that's happened to me in the past isn't that bad, and it gives me something to b[/i]itch about when I'm feeling down, since I haven't got anything present-day to complain about, besides becoming a boring-*** adult.

I have some memories I still look back and cringe on, but I dont regret my actions at the time. The way I figure it, everything I have done in my life has made me the person I am today, both the good and the bad. I kow myself for what I am, have made my mistakes that I'll never do again, and if I didnt have those memories I would not have learned.

The only thing I can say I am truely regretful about is when I started smoking. Im going to try and quit this summer and never look back.

My biggest regrets are not things I've done, but opportunities missed and things I've failed to do.

Same here. I try not to dwell on those either though. Either I try again or accept things and move on. I can't think of any things that waste more "life" than fear, regret, and self-pity.

If I find that I have wronged someone, directly or indirectly, I do my best to make things right... unless trying is just going to do more harm.

These principles are not always as apparent as i would like them to be.

Especially when I post here.
