For some reason, the other day I had "Stuffin' Martha's Muffin" in my head for about three hours. Which, realisticly, amounts to three hours of me chanting "I wanna put it innnnn... ya, Martha Quinn" under my breath.

Ah the fun of the redneck music. Have you ever played "Redneck rampage"? I believe their music makes up at least 90% of the sound track, and their posters are in the game itself! Oh the joy of it all!

I'm on dial-up at home so my file sharing is limited by my own unwillingness to spend 25min downloading a 5meg song. When I do get the itch, I use Limewire.

Edit: Check it out.. 16k

Don't really have any specific bands to list, but my fav way to find something new/different is just type a genre into whatever downloader you use and randomly click on everything in sight.
You get alot of garbage and me too bands, but there's always the little gem that changes your life forever.

ELO "Mr. blue sky" Dont' know why but i like it and can't help but smile when it plays.

I cant help on new music since Ive spent the last week revelling in the rock of the early to mid 90's of my teen years.

Smashing Pumpkins Geek U.S.A., Cherub Rock, etc

Soundgarden Superunknown and Badmotorfinger albums

The Crow soundtrack because it still rocks

Nirvana of course I cant get the version of Territorial Pissings from Muddy Banks CD out of my head, plus the fact that I have had the drum beat from Lithium stuck in my head since I was 14 and im now 23. Whenever I am tapping it always comes out as that.

New music:

Picked up System of a Downs new album Mesmerize as mentioned earlier and Im really enjoying it

Perfect Circle Thirteenth Step is ok

Some gave me a copy of a electronic/triphop CD called Zen Lounge something or another which is pretty decent considering I hate electronic. Darklady by dj food is decent

Warsaw Pack is otay music for the liberal arts youth of today

Poison the Well has some decent tunes

Im getting old in that I cant stand new music, example Greenday, I remember picking up there first album and mildly enjoying it but I listened through there new one which is supposed to be some "masterpiece" or amazing record and I didnt like it at all, especially that boulevard of broken dreams.

I have a *friend* that currently uses Bittorrent for album and Limewire for individual songs.

Im currently working on beefing up my "old country" and 70's/80's punk section of my music collection. Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, etc.

John Legend, "Ordinary People" good album, but I like "Stay With You"
Nat King Cole
Nina Simone
PM Dawn
The Posies
Talib Kweli
Wilco

Actually, I thout nadenu (er nadneu... damnit! Nad...) started this thread.

Red on the WoW stylesheet is very, very hard for my colourblind self to read.

Change style sheets? Smiley: sly

Difficulty of reading, I understand - for some reason I thought NadeNu was Nadeau for the longest time, and the first time I read it I thought it was Naneau (read: Na-noo) as in Mork from Orc.

But I will have to say, I am not sure how you could confuse Tare with Nadenu just based on length it would be as plain as the face on your nose. Smiley: lol

And my default answer is anything by "The Tragically Hip"

Most poular songs are

New Orleans is Sinkin'
38 years old
Music @ Work
Highway Girl

I like all of their songs, but those have gotten the most airtime over the years. The "Up to here" album being the most popular.

Actually give any of Armin Van Buuren's State of Trance shows a try. Great trance. John Digweed and John Askew have new shows weekly that you can stream from Kiss100. This week's Digweed show is amazing.

Sasha - Airdrawndagger is worth downloading.

Everyone in Canada knows of The Tragiacally Hip, they were huge here at one time.

I have heard of Moxy Fruvus too, but can't really remember any of their music.
