And what is the naughty headmaster doing to you. Details please...

This is getting good now. Is it hot in here or is it just me?

31 posts a month do not a regular poster make...

But seriously, that's the best you could come up with?

I liked this part:

So you see here class, he tries to justify his continual reponses to this thread by dodgeing my earlier point entirely. If you think I'm a "soft" target of limited intillect, why waste the effort? Surely if your allegations were founded on truth, then your posts would go unnoticed by me, or I would have ran away cowering in fear at this point. Calling me a soft target is like calling a battleship a dhingy...

I do care. About the forum.

You fucking hypocryte. You have done more harm to this forum over the years than most. How many people have you driven away with your snide remarks and constant badgering just because they didn't fit your mold of the ideal poster? You care about this forum the same way a cancer cares for it's host. You care only for lil' patsy and how big you can make your ego appear. It's like those birds, you know the ones, that try and puff themselves up to make the other, bigger birds afraid of eating them... It's the same thing we've got going on here.

Now admittedly I am biased, but it seems to me that you've been the one taking it up the *** so far in this thread. It must be a new experiance for you. I'm sorry, i'll be gentle.

Actually, this was decided just a few days ago, so there's no way you would've been told of something happening in the future of when you enrolled.

Must I teach you everything?

Kao -
We all know you're a super cool d00d with l33t powers at the internets, but have a little class, ok? Leave real names out of the equation.

Or don't. We all know you have a tendency to be a complete *** at times, due in no small part to your "Geek Lashout Syndrome", and it isn't that suprising.

"Geek Lashout Syndrome"tm is new to the journals, and I too am a sufferer.

Admittedly there was a tad bit of insider back history behind that little dig. Patsy is always on about how I'm such an evil admin and would use any and all information like that at the drop of a hat. I was just reminding him that not only do I have that information from when he inadvertantly posted it in an excel document long ago, I have never used it, and never would beyond the name there. But if he want's to try and play hardball, let's go for it.

Alla knows this, which is why Kao is still an admin. Haven't seen him abuse of anything as of yet.

To be fair he did say he got the name from an excel document inadvertantly posted and not by abusing admin privilages.

Wow! Alla... you need to send some of your guys to a customer service course. Temper management wouldn't be so bad either.

It's not this that worries me so much, as his ALWAYS resorting to thinly veiled threats of what he knows about the people who anger him, and the pride he takes in "playing hardball".

Not appropriate. Not desirable in a person who has access.

But this has been going on for as long as there has been a Kao, and no doubt will continue for as long as Alla turns a blind eye.

WTF are you talking about? He's using resources of a regular poster...as in random flames, dirt digging, and some crap he has saved on his comp...something that anyone with an IQ of at least 20 can pull off.

Please don't turn a blindeye to thinking.

As I mentioned in my (almost immediately nuked) thread in the main FFXI forum I am actually a fan of the karma system. Over-moderation will ruin any good OOT forum. Kaolian is, at times, a good example of this. But the karma system only has as much value as posters place in it, and when people (and don't deny it folks) place great value on it whilst simultaneously abusing it you end up with a ton of trolls hiding behind their rating when they should be proving their worth by engaging in the time-honoured flame war.

Still, Kao is an admin and can do whatever he likes. I imagine if enough regular posters complained he would be receptive to that. Just don't end up contradicting yourself by trying to improve the quality of a forum by moderation, when all you're doing is stifling people's ability to express their opinions.

Ok, enlighten me then, oh great and mighty guru of the win/loseomiter. Seems to me I've been wipeing the floor with your sorry keester, while you have failed to get in more than a handful of weak digs and overanalyzed barbs that fall short of the mark. But by all means, don't take my word for it. Like I said, I judge myself to be biased... but wait, by Patty logic, does't that mean I must be a truly sound judge of the realities of this thread? huh. Can't have it both ways eh?

We'll leave the scoreing up to the field.

In case anyone is curious, nursie is just pissed because about a year ago, she was set no rate after she didn't heed her "don't do that" warning and proceed to continue camping several of the admins from her perch in the EQOA forum. Not smart.

See above.

Basically, didn't know no better, thought if they could post, they could be rated (DOH), and got into a flame war with em, for things we disagreed on.

same old BS everyone has been through with Kao.

Just NOT everyone gets the extra-special NORATE flag.
