I was just sitting here watching TV about an hour ago when the song Black Velvet just popped into my head. There was nothing to trigger it, I just all of a sudden had it stuck in my head, and I haven't stopped humming it since.
Anybody else ever have this happen to them?

That happens to me all the time. And it's usually a song that I don't like, or one that I barely know, so the same lyric repeats itself over and over.

When I am listening to music, it never happens. Odd, right? Seriously though, the first few lines to Tom Waits' Innocent when you dream pop in my head all the time recently "the bats are in the belfry, ..." you know the ones. It's annoying as hell.

I often get music without vocals stuck in my head. It drives me nuts if I can't remember the name of the song, and without lyrics to go on, it's virtually impossible to look it up. 
I have to curb my urges to sing out loud while at work. Buisness people don't enjoy punk songs about abortions and such.
