Sixth SenseFollow

I read somewhere last week about a study on the 'sixth sense' some people seem to have. Basically, the conclusion from the study was that we observe things and make conclusions from our observations on a subconcious level. This is logical, sound reasoning, if you ask me.

So, on to the reason I bothered to make a post. How many of you give your gut, (sixth sense, intuition, I don't care what you call it but it's not logic on a concious level, just a feeling that won't go away) more respect than you can easily justify to yourself or others?

I know I do. It doesn't happen very often, but if I get a gut feeling about something, I follow it. EVERY single time I've failed to, hindsight has proved that I should have. Experience has given me a healthy admiration of the attribute.

I do this all the time with patients. It is almost as if you can sense when something is wrong before it registers on the monitors.

I try to always follow my gut instincts. Like TS, every time I don't, I regret it.

I was raised with a healthy respect for the subconsicous, so I take mine very seriously. I try to follow it.

The Subconcious is everything in the Universe that you don't know... but is none the less, effecting you..and vice versa.

Interesting fact: on tests, your first instinct is something like 70-90% right. Believe me, it's proven true to me at least that much.

Sorry, I don't have a linky. I just heard it from one of my teachers.

the Subconsious is the doorway in our head to the fabled Akashic Records.

We have the capability to Know everything....it is our doubt that limits us.

That was the Sony label that picked up my garage band back in the 90's.

maybe that statement is cosmically multi-faceted and contains layers of sublime intonation of a divine nature and that indeed the -iel suffix of your name applies correctly...

Maybe. It'd be nice to be cosmicly multi-facted without much effort.

Things are.

Regardless of whether the conscious part of you is aware of it or not, the Universe speaks through you in everyway... it is our higher(deeper)selves... The term "subconcious" is but a vague generalization.

actually, it's wehn you actually start putting conscious human effort into it that you begin to interfere.

I don't know about the "gut feeling" but my brother and I seem to be so in tune that we often never even need to talk to each other. It's a twin thing, I guess.

i thin kwe all have unique "vibes" or frequencies.. of waht, I can't tell you.. maybe it's electro-chemical or magentetic or somthing...

but maybe twins are on such a similar frequency.... that they can pick up each others "waves".

I wonder how many other senses there actually are.. surely more than 6. But how would we know without some institution labeling them as such.

The one and only. I am smarter than everyone on here, but they only deserve a glimpse of my genius.

We don't deserve your presence; pandering to us morons only dirties your aura. If only you never spoke again, might we truly understand.
