I was clicking through the news and they were talking about Bush in Europe and on the following link here is a picture of GW and the first lady getting off what I presume to be Air Force 1.

The Picture looks like its been photo shopped. Not that it matters or anything but it really, really looks fake.
Is it just me or does anyone else think so?

Holy **** that is the worst photoshopping I ever saw. I guess they didn't get a picture of it and didn't want to use an old picture of them getting off the plane. Thats sad to say the least.

Well, since my own photoshop skills exceed those of the person who did that photo, I will reiterate that it sucks badly.
Why would they feel a need to post a photo when they had none? That's the question.

for security reasons, the dates, and times the president travels outside of the country are kept secreat. even as an air traffic controller, we dont even know he is comming untill a supervisor is standing behind us and tells us he is about to enter our airspace.
the presidents press group travels with him usually. but i am not sure how that is handeled when he travels over seas.
my guess, it was a photo the whitehouse press people gave to CNN, along with the press release they want passed as a news story.
i wouldnt be so quick to point the finger at CNN for such crappy work. as a govenment emploee, i can tell you, we are MORE than capable of producing such crappy work, and that is where i would look first to find the source of that abomination.
just my 2 cents.

It's not a photoshopped image. I can see why you may think so, due to the framing, shadows, coloration, etc.
It looks to me like a photo op where 200 European reporters are waiting, with a few dozen high-intensity floodlights throwing everything into sharp relief. You can see the glare on the white interior panel of the plane door, just below the Pres. seal.

Looks more like cardboard cutouts than photoshop.
I think it's the lighting behind them that makes it look like it's been 'shopped. You'd think there were enough file footage of them getting off AF1 for there not to be a need for touching up a photograph.
