I have to ask, how did all of you FFXI hater learn about this site? Was it from a blizzard game maybe? Or EQ? Or are you just random trolls who found a home on a uncencored forum?

It was an EQ site for years before FFXI came around.
I'm a former FFXI player, and current FFXI hater.
Oh ok EQ rejects, makes sense. Why the hate for FFXI? Its a nice community game, based on team work, and if you have a problem, you can always just /blist add xxxx, though I would have to admit, alot of 12 year old AOLers for a game that you have to pay for with a credit card...
It's all the immature little fu*ktards that give us FFXI players bad names. Constant flaming on our forums, constant negative attitude, etc. The flames I see on our forums are retarded. They are stupid **** like "Get over yourself Crayola" "You suck!" "I'm better than you!" blah blah blah.
It's a fu*king game. Shut up, sit down, have fun. If you get frustrated, take a break. That simple. I had one dude trip out on me last night over something that was not my fault. Put it this way, he was so immature that I had to Blacklist him. I've been playing FFXI for a year and a half and have never Blacklisted anyone until last night.
That's the reason why people hate us FFXI players. Immaturity. Fu*king grow up. If you don't want to grow up, fine. Quit and stop giving other game players' reasons to hate us.

Playing WoW opened my eyes to a million little things that were unacceptably terrible about FFXI. Things that made the game cumbersome and not fun, things that could have been solved with a few lines of programming. But I won't go into detail here.
On a lark, I went FFXI forum browsing the other day. I wish that I could go back in time and stab myself in the face for ever playing that game.

It's sad, because FFXI itself isnt a bad game. In fact, the Final Fantasy series were legendary until they started catering to all the wasted nut of the world and started making the games all about graphics and less about story.

Static PTs for da win!! Of course you should expect to deal with nothing but children with FFXI...grabbing a name like Final Fantasy and turning it into a MMORPG had to have had those results...specially since you can play the darn game on PS2 (which, in fact, LIMITS what can be coded into the game.)
Either way, IDC. I enjoy the game, regardless of it's idiodic ambiance. There are a handful of good players out there (and equally, good posters) to the FFXI name. Just not enough to be noticed!

So you dont like FFXI because of all the ********************* well guess what, you'll be around ********************* your entire life. Some times they are going to be your boss, sometimes a customer. I'm sure there are ********************* on WOW, I know there were and still are on D2...I stopped playing that game because a bunch of cheating, PKing players went at great length to not only kill me, but to make my legit equipment look bad...
That being said, if you know awesome people on any online game you'll have a much better time. I have a linkshell with my old socom 2 clan mates. Maybe if you'd stop being an jerk and talk to people. Then you'd enjoy the game more, get rid of that "I'll be a beastmaster so I dont have to play an ONLINE game with OTHER people".

I am a member if seven linkshells all of which I do events and stuff with. I just dont like grouping with random people to level.. Way to blow my simple post out of proportion dude.

Why are you making the incorrect assumption that this is an FFXI website? If you would do the most perfunctory search you could see that Alla supports multiple games in this website.
