Would we all just pause, or would we keep going and if it turned out he went back to like some Roman war with an Apache and killed all the greecs (or someone else) and changed history, would we just **SNAP** change?

I've always wondered....

Didn't you ever see Back to the Future? Sheesh. You slowly disappear on a photograph with the guy who played Jimmy Olsen in Superman.

Maybe you should go back to ancient Greece and look up an alchemist, say in Corinth, and ask him to make you a hemlock potion.

Then you could drink it, boy that would sure change fu[/u]ckin history now wouldn't it?

I dont think its possible to go back in time. I do however think it is possible to go so fast and stop time all together, but as for going back I dont think its possible.

And if you could, a simple hello to someone would probally make us dissapear.
Now that would suck huh?

I believe the Present is real
Sure there is a future but there isint. We know its going to come tommorow but its not there now.
And same for the past. But the other way around. >.>

Traveling around the sun faster than the speed of light would turn back time, as many scientists/theorists have proves in a cooperative effort.

Time=Space, it's just our perception of changes in matter and energy. In that respect, the only way to go back in "time" would be to rearrange space to how it had been previously.

what do you think UFOs and so-called aliens are? They're just evolved humans from the future coming back and observing their history. that's my theory :P

No i would say we were made from some alien probe shot from their planet, and they are here, somewhere on this planet, watching their experiment about to destroy itself.

UFO sightings are there, my dad was a witness to one, as was the hole east coast that same night.

Clearly your shrunken intelect can't realize that your 5th grade science lessons dont unlock all of the knowledge in the universe, thats to both of you.

Imagine our univers we live in and know is a bubble. Now each time a decision is made, a new universe bubble is born.

You would just create another universe is all.

From Dr. Michio Kaku

Kaku: There are two basic obstacles to time travel. The first is energy. We need astronomical amounts of it, in either the form of positive or negative energy. At 10 to the 19 billion electron volts (a quadrillion times larger than that produced by our most powerful machine on Earth) space itself becomes unstable, and "holes" and bubbles (baby universes) begin to form out of the space-time "foam." At this energy, it may be possible to build a time machine out of the discontinuities in space-time. Also, there is the problem of stability. [Stephen] Hawking once thought that time travel was absolutely impossible because a law of physics prevented it. After that, counterexamples have been found, so the burden of proof has shifted. Now, it’s up to the cynics to prove that time travel is NOT possible. But there is one last problem: radiation. Once we quantize the wormhole, there is the possibility that high-intensity graviton radiation will fry anyone who enters the time machines. This is still an open question, although string theory should solve it.
