Just had to shareFollow

#1 Feb 15 2005 at 8:17 AM Rating: Good
I simply felt the need to share how happy I truly feel right now. I'm up too early, but that's ok. I am no longer who I was, but am a new and happier person. Today I awoke for the first time as a Willis, and it was good. Smiley: yippee

Yea, that's right, I got married last night. The ceremony was beautiful and things were relatively seamless. The only hitch was my father-in-law eating food he didn't order so that my sister-in-law had to eat what she didn't order. >< However, since the check he gave us ammounts to twoice what we paid for the wedding Smiley: jawdrop, I forgive him.

Shouldn't you be fucking like bunnies or cooking your husband's breakfast instead of posting on the internets?

Gratz! Believe it or not the wedding was the easy part. Now comes the hard part. Making it work through thick and thin. Never go to bed angry at each other. Work it out before you turn out the lights. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you.

Keep the receipts for the wedding gifts in case it doesn't work out.

Congrats! I got married a month ago today, myself. It's pretty neat. :)

We, unfortunately, didn't get nearly enough in gifts to cover the cost of the wedding, and people seemed to only buy the gifts I put on our registry when my mother nagged me for not having a long enough list (read: nothing that we actually needed or wanted) but it's not about the gifts.

...It's about the tax breaks! And our car insurance has already gone down! Hasn't changed anything between us relationship-wise. Marriage rarely does. If you had problems before, expect to continue having them. If things were great before, they'll continue being great. Good luck, have fun, and don't be like me: write those thank-you cards while you still feel energetic and stuff.

Now youve got wife faction to deal with....lol

I can honestly say that...

a) I don't give a good Bob damn how happy you are, it doesn't give you license to come here and try to spread it around. We are a curmudgionly lot and enjoy it that way.

b) he will end up f'ucking his assistant and you will hate him for it always. Get ready for that and when it happens, please for the love of Bob, don't tell us about it. We have warned you and won't give a sh;t.

That being said, congratulations. May you not get your life ruined until the honeymoon is over.

Now, now, Debalic - I don't hug, I smother and not in a fat chick, overpowering kind of way. (Or is it? Buahahahhahahah)

So, Purril, you got married, congrats. I hope you got a prenup.

(wow, that was a late response)
