Hm, well, I know it isn't a Rosa Parks reference - she wanted to sit at the FRONT of the bus. So I just don't get it. /shrug

Acutally, if you look at the picture of the police chief who left her gun, she's lily-white.

Edit: OK, it's the front of the bus, fine. Ms. Parks still didn't have anything to do with the womens' rights movement, dumba[/i]ss. We could already vote by that point. You r teh lose.

I'd classify the "bag of weed" story as dumber. People forget their purses and briefcases and backpacks all the time, it's nothing special. First off, that teacher needs to get out more (and away from small, vulnerable children) as she's obviously bored with life and looking for excitement anywhere she can get it. Secondly, she needs a new prescription for her glasses if she thought that dirt and clover looked like weed. Thirdly, while I can see the logic in not going back on your punishment once you've administered it, it's petty and cruel to leave the punishment on the child's record for future teachers to see it. They're going to treat that little girl like a druggie for the rest of her school days, and probably inadvertently drive her to drug use where she otherwise may have made it out of school clean.
