It's funny if you live in Chicago. Kinda.

Or if you're not the topic under discussion. Smiley: glare

i wouldn't call this comforting but i've had this damn song stuck in my head for days.

as for a comforting song, i can't stop listening to Alter Bridge - "in loving memory"
that is a really good song and a very good album, i recommend it.

"What I Got" by Sublime
"Nice Day", by the Salteens.
"Life", by Our Lady Peace.
"Everybody Hurts", by REM

"One Thing" by Finger Eleven
"Purple Haze" and "All Along the Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix

This has comforted me ever since I was a little kid --->

Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.

~Mr. Tamborine Man, Bob Dylan

Sara Mclachlan: Answer
Johnny Cash: Hung my Head
U2: Miracle Drug
Sinead OConner: Troy
K.D. Lang: After the Goldrush
Barenaked Ladies: War on Drugs
Fiona Apple: Limp
Dave Matthews: Up and Away

I find it neat that so many peoples list includes Sara Mclachlan.

I don't really have any individual songs I listen to. There are a couple of artists though.

Just about anything by Prince (especially his Parade album) and Sade.

wasent saying trent reznor had it hard

i dont know those songs just cheer me up, the lyrics from La Mer got me through a lot of hard times with depression, i was living with my father by court order for many months awhile back and hated it, the lyrics kinda ment something to me

And I'll become the sky
And I'll become the sea
and the sea will come to kiss me
for I, am going, home
Nothing can stop me now

and Ive recently begun Keyboarding lessons because of "Leaving Hope" - something to get me off this freaking computer lol

Comfort songs? I can think of two good soothing tracks that puts me in a reflective, complacent mood. Comfortably Numb and Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.
