Have you seen that the State of Virginia wants to pass a law that you are fined $50.00 for allowing your underwear to be seen in public? (Sagging..low rise jeans etc) The legislature says that it is an act of public indecency to allow your underwear to be seen.
The opposition says it is racial. Also it cause parents to miss work to go pay their children's fines. Is this a problem? Does it mess with your freedom of speech? Comments?

I doubt this will pass. Once the Plumber's Union gets word of this they will make sure it gets squashed.

If they pass this, then they need to pass one that prevents women from showing cleavage. That is much more sexually explicit than cotton boxers.
I wish they would outlaw those pants kids wear that have legs that are big enough to hide a beagle under.
I suppose I should be full of indignation at this restriction of Freedom of Expression but I'll leave that to the impotent rage of boxer-showing teenagers who couldn't be bothered to vote.

What part of VA? Alexandria/Arlington is pretty artsy, outside of Old Town.
This law is a crock of ****. Us straight and narrow people are rapidly loosing people to point our fingers at and snicker.
I alaways get stuck going to Richmond; my company has a warehouse there and yours truly gets to take a few trips there every year whenever the poo hits the fan blades.

Practically everything is illegal in VA. Spitting on the sidewalk...every position in VA is illegal unless it's missionary. There probably isn't much left for them to make laws against.
My friend once lived in Richmond, went to VCU. His apartment was like the Fight Club apartment which made it interesting but scary at the same time. The bathroom was gross and leaked, and the fire escape was boarded up.

Reminds me of seeing some 15 year old skater kid at Mcdonald's whose pant cuffs each were bigger than my waist. Couldn't even see his feet; whenever he walked he ended up sweeping half the floor.

They tried passing this awhile back in Louisiana, but got shot down pretty quickly, and I'm expecting the same here.

in SF...at a cafe, early morning, order my bagel-n-cc, and caffeine.
counterperson brings me my stuff, sets it on the counter in front of me, i look down and her pants are so low i can see underwear AND pubic hair...inches away from my food.
not good.
maybe that is already against the law...
