Too much time meditating...Follow

i had this sent to me at work the other day...(contains religious material, so read at your own risk)

Quote:
When I meditated on the word Guidance, I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.

When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky. When
one person realizes that, and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another. It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other. My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.

When I saw "G: I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i". "God, "u" and i" dance." God, you, and I dance. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies be upon you on this day and everyday. May you abide in God as God abides in you. Dance together with God, trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life. This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached. If God has done anything for you in your life, please share this
message with someone else, for prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive.

There is no cost but a lot of rewards; so let's continue to pray for one another. And I Hope You Dance
This seems to convey a message of "faith" so in my opinion it's meant for those who are having a hard time with religion (that must be why they sent this to me)...is it just me or do they "meditate" too damn much...anyone can break down a word and make it mean what ever they want.

i do admire them for their persistance but if i feel like i need god, i will go to church (without someone telling me)...

Don't be so tough about it.. you had the choice not to read the email. By reading it, you basically did the same thing as going to a church.

All they were trying to do was be a little inspirational in their own quirky X-tian sorta way.

the thing is i get bored at work so i read, whether it be news or simple e-mails...i dont know where you got this "By reading it, you basically did the same thing as going to a church" thing...i understand someone was preaching, but you're dodging the point, this was something i wanted to share my views on...thought it was an interesting story...

Actually, that's according to the accepted biblical teachings. The most controversial gospel, the Gospel of St. Thomas states that calling a building of stick and mud (any building) a house of god is a bastardization of the word.

The vatican doesn't like it, since they feel that people should be 100% reliant on the physical church.

well what im saying is that if i wanted a "true" definition of christianity (the one that the sender was trying to convey), then i'd go to a designated sanctuary...if im not of christian beliefs, then i cant really sit at home and find the christian God without me most likely being disillusioned...

Ya, someone should write a book for that. A really big book. Then distribute it widely so almost everyone has access to a copy. They should make it very recognizable. Boy I wish some people would get together and write a book like that. I be it would be the most popular book ever.

Are you crazy? To pull off something like that, you'd need some sort of "press" that "prints things!"

Ok lets be honest here for just a minute, When are you ever at your house? Not when your working right?? So what you go home make your self a meal take a **** maybe pound one out than go and hang out with your friends. If your haveing a real good night maybe you get some 12 year old asian boy to follow you back to the house around three am for some **** sex. So lets think this through do I really wanna go to Gods house...No I'm good. Thanks for the offer though.

What did I stutter?? Did I miss spell something?? Ok in "layman's terms" I wouldn't go to God's house because its just like your house or my house. A place where we do our dirty business. A place where we **** in the door ways so other animals know its ours! What do you think Baptism in the church is all about, Its God pissing on you and claiming you as one of his. Sorry if this is to diffcult for you to understand.

Is it screwed up that Stutter has 3 T's in it?? Or that Lisp has an S in it??
