"When Furby is leading the 6 O'Clock news, either there is something seriously wrong with our culture or this is a terrific product," said Chris Byrne, an independent toy analyst.

I say... the former

One of the kids in my chemlab brought one of these detestable little things in close to the end of the semester once. It's amazing the kinds of tortures you can dream up for them when you have a closet full of chemicals and scientific instruments at your disposal.

It was rather ... unrecognizable ... when we were finished. Much fun was had by all! This could probably be a revolution in anti-aggression therapy.

Smiley: lol

Reminds me of my grandpa who's almost completely blind now.

Aunt hands him an ice cream cone.
Grandpa: "What is this" starts feeling it with his fingers.
Aunt: "It's an ice cream cone"
Grandpa: "Feels like a ****" laughs.

Damn you fast posters

I find that cyanide often does the trick. If they survive that there's always the napalm bath.

Hasbro says the new Furby is better, smarter and can even express a variety of moods.

What the hell is that about? I don't want my children's toys to express moods! If I wanted that, why not have more children?

My friends ripped the voicebox out of a Furby, noticed it looked like an eraser, so they attached a dry-erase thing to one side and used it as their whiteboard eraser.

It was one of the creepiest things.. You'd erase something on the board and it would coo at you.

That actually made me laugh out loud. I should make a few of those for my mom. She's a teacher.
