A guy from Philadelphia dies and is sent to Hell. He had been a horrible man his entire life. The devil puts him to work breaking up rocks with a sledgehammer. To make it worse he cranks up the temperature and the humidity. After a couple of days, the devil checks in on his victim to see if he is suffering adequately.

The devil is aghast as the Philadelphian is happily swinging his hammer and whistling a happy tune. The devil walks up to him and says, "I don't understand this. I've turned the heat way up, it's humid and you're crushing rocks; why are you so happy?"

The Philadelphian, with a big smile, looks at the devil and replies, "This is great! It reminds me of August in Philadelphia. Hot, humid, a good place to work. It reminds me of home. This is fantastic!"

The devil, extremely perplexed, walks away to ponder the Philadelphian's remarks... Then he decides to drop the temperature, send down a driving rain and torrential wind. Soon, Hell is a wet, muddy mess. Walking in mud up to his knees with dust blowing into his eyes, the Philadelphian is happily slogging through the mud pushing a wheelbarrow full of crushed rocks.

Again, the devil asks how he can be happy in such conditions. The Philadelphian replies, "This is great! Just like April in Philadelphia. It reminds me of working out in the yard with spring planting!"

The devil is now completely baffled but more determined to make the Philadelphian suffer. He makes the temperature plummet. Suddenly Hell is blanketed in snow and ice. Confident that this will surely make the Philadelphian unhappy, the devil checks in on him. He is again aghast at what he sees.

The Philadelphian is dancing, singing, and twirling his sledgehammer as he cavorts in glee.

"How can you be so happy? Don't you know its 40 below zero!?" screams the devil.

Jumping up and down the Philadelphian throws a snowball at the devil and yells, "Hell has frozen over!! This means the Eagles won the Super Bowl!

E-A-G-L-E-S ... EAGLES!

(Yeah I'm a glutton for punishment)

LOL... rock on Philly, the best city ever :)

Hopefully the eagles don't fumble tomorrow like they normally do... it would be awesome for them to win the superbowl this year.

The Eagles stink. The Eagles are worse then the Broncoes were at one point, the Bills and the Vikings. At least those teams lost 4 superbowls, instead of being Championship pretenders.

Andy Reid has no idea how to change a game plan midway through a game so that his team can win against a decent opponet.

McNabb is good, but not now nor ever will he be an elite quarterback in history. At the end of his run he will join the Danny Whites and Boomer Esiasons of the world as also rans.

The Eagle offensive plan is boring and unimaginative. T.O. was thier only saving grace, and he is more known for his dances and big game dropped balls then for his championships.

The defense is over rated, they rank in the top 10, but feast on the dredges of football like the Skins and Giants.

The Feebles will win only if Vick is hurt, or Mora starts calling the game like his daddy used to.

I hate philly fans. I'm a redskins fan, and i go to the games, and every time that we play philly at home, there are always at least 10 philly fans that get thrown out for miscunduct (throwing beer at kids, beating up grandmas, killing puppies...well, maybe not the puppies, but I bet they would if they could.)

Philly hockey fans are worse. Ever hear of the broad street bullies? It didn't just apply to the flyers!

Seriously though, the eagles have a good chance this year, so long as the management doesn't ***** it up like always.

Oh look, someone admits to being a skins fan. How does it feel to know that the Cowboys own your team, and have for about 8 years now?

Yes I am a Cowboys fan. Yes they are the greatest team in the history of the NFL since the merger. Yes, all other fans can bow down to us.

Did you know there was a jail under the stands at their old Stadium (The Vet). So they act like idiots at home too not just in your stadium.

The skins may suck, but i'll always love them. Unlike Philly fans, who boo if the Eagles lose a yard.

I've always rooted for the Falcons, not that it seems to do much good.

LOL. I'm a Redskins fan too. Yes, the Cowboys have owned us the last eight years, I'll give you that. But our records since 2000? Redskins 34-46, Cowboys 31-49. That's right--WE BOTH SUCK!! You were the team of the nineties, we and the 49ers were the teams of the 80s. Now we both suck! But I still proudly wear my 'skins parphernalia and ********** to my Joe Gibbs poster like a true fan. I imagine you do the same towards the Cowboys. So let's hope both our teams get better, and soon! Maybe then our rivalry will actually mean something again.

I'd laugh, but I'm so nervous right now I can hardly think straight. Maybe more liquor will help.

Hardest hit I've seen so far was when the fan ran out on the field. The security guard should suit up; the Falcons need all the help they can get.

They sure did, god-awful. Neither team played particularly well, but Atlanta stunk up the place.

Hard hits--Alge Crumpler got slammed pretty good after that catch, that's gotta hurt. Congrats Eagles, I guess. *sigh* Now I have no one to root for because I care nothing about any of the teams in it. :(

Go Redskins! They're the REAL champions!
