We have a 31 year old who shovels the driveway here. Unfortunately, he happens to be me.

It's a damn long driveway too. Goes the entire length of the property since the garage sits on the very back of the lot.

It's 32c here, hot, humid and sunny. Might get a late evening thunder storm.

My kids have already had two cold baths today, to cool them down.

It's the humidity that kills ya. <sweat>

The snow in my yard is currently at about waist high right now. We've just gone through a few weeks at -40 to -50 temps. I feel like I'll never be warm again. ><

In TN, we just got a dusting. But it's very windy, so it feels like it's 30 below out there.

When the weather started here, we heard thunder, then some driving sleet and snow started hitting our front window. I've never heard thunder before snow before, so it was kinda freaky. Add to it the fact that my husband and I were watching The Day After Tomorrow and it was almost a bit scary Smiley: lol

We've got anywhere from 18" - 24" here on the east end of Long Island. Drifts of course, can be much deeper, and I find myself on the leeward side of the street, so in addition to the street plows burying my truck the wind continues to add to it.

But I got my driveway cleared althouth my little John Deere tractor with the plow blade was almost overmatched. The worst part was having to shovel off my deck out back to make sure it doesn't collapse under the weight of all that snow.

If they've cleared the roads enough I may be able to get my tractor to the vicinity of my truck (parked in front of the house), which might make it a little easier to dig it out. If not, then its back at it with the old snow shovel.

At 42, I really don't need this crap.

Looks like we got about 20 inches? Hard to tell with all the drifting going on. The coast is having hurricane like gusts of up to 80mph and while we're not that bad up in the hills, it's pretty damn windy.

I'm going to try and get a photo and post for the fun of it. WOuld be neat to see a couple others if any of you have digital cameras.

My Daughter has a white Mustang and you could not even see the thing.. We were afraid the plow would get it.. All in all we got about a foot an a half, not countin the drifts.. As cold as its been this stuff will be around for a while. Did I mention Snow SuX!

It's 40F here, but it feels like it's 34F. The high is only supposed to be 50F. This sucks, I have to go clean out the pool.

I'm pissed. I got so screwed!

Was really looking forward to this, since I love snow and snowstorms. Expected 12-20 inches here in lower New York. Looking out the window, it seems that we didn't even make a foot. More like 7-8 inches. Smiley: mad

IL has been getting pretty regular snow. Idunno. The snow isn't what's pissing me off, it's the slush. When it's been sitting on the ground for a while and it's half snow, half water, all dirt. Ugh.

Yesterday easily hit -10F in Normal after windchill. It was damn cold. Today isn't so bad, though.

Got about a foot dumped on us in Central New York, which really isn't that much when it comes down to it.

I am just ready for spring though.

Winter simply sucked for us this year, all of the snow missed us up until now. We had a green Christmas, and the temperature actually hit 60 at one point. Any time we got any snowfall it would melt the next day due to amazingly high (for winter) tempertatures.

*sigh* I bet school wont even close tomorrow, it was -17 at my house on Friday and school didn't close, my school tends to not close unless somebody's being held at gunpoint.

Smiley: lol Right now on the news they're saying that New England got 27 inches in 33 hours. I envy you. If you can't tell by now, I love winter and the snow.
